But J.T. will get a new contract since he replaced their starter.
I will also jump on the Losman wagon. He may not be the qb of the future here but he could be the qb for right now; and who knows he may just turn out great. At this point we are getting pretty desperate. We can't suffer through a full season of Thiggy

I think him being a FA is exactly the reason to bring in Losman. The Bills would rather take like a fourth- or fifth-rounder than be stuck with nada. Trent Edwards is their guy. Meanwhile, we'd have a legitimate prospect on our roster and a leg up on signing him if he worked out. If we didn't see enough to warrant keeping him, then we'd let him go. We wouldn't have to splurge on a high-draft pick or even a decent contract on him, that is unless he played his way to a payday. Make sense?

right now he's sitting behind Rogers and Flynn. Surely it wouldnt take alot to pick up their 3rd stringer.

Regarding my comments about the Browns, I said I consider most of them busts. Joe Thomas is not a bust, lets not put him in the HOF just yet tho bc the Browns running game is horrid. I was mostly trying to illustrate how the Chiefs and Browns are similar in thier ineptitude and KC had a team from 96-99 ...Cleveland did not!

YEAR Rd. NAME
1999 1 Tim Couch QB Kentucky BUST
2000 1 Courtney Brown DE Penn State BUST
2001 3 Gerard Warren DT Florida A few goodyears BUST
2002 16 William Green RB Boston C. BUST
2003 21 Jeff Faine C Notre Dame NEW TEAM
2004 6 Kellen Winslow II TE GOOD WHEN NOT INJURED
2005 3 Braylon Edwards WR Michigan DITTO
2006 13 Kamerion Wimbley LB Fl.State Some promise
2007 3 Joe Thomas OT Wisconsin OK OK
2007 22 Brady Quinn QB Notre Dame ?
