As you may have read, Arrowhead Addict was mentioned in some detail on the NFL Network’s NFL GameDay Morning this morning. Before mentioning the Addict–along with the website GetBradyNow.com–Alex Flanagan called Chiefs fans desperate and delusional. Um, did you expect us to be comfortable and content right about now? Then she went on to discuss the Brady Quinn rumors before moving on to the following discussion…
AF: “This one even better now…another fan there is campaigning for (Bill) Cowher and Michael Vick in 2009. They want him in Kansas City. That on ArrowheadAddict.com. Michael Vick, of course, expected to get out of prison sometime in 2009, maybe between May and October. So, he could be ready.”
Marshall Faulk: “I’m happy to see that somebody wants Michael Vick. That’s good to know. Even if it’s Kansas City right now, knowing they can’t get him.”
Warren Sapp: “Does this person who wrote, does he now got a team or something, cause blah blah blah…”
(Sorry, 99, I honestly couldn’t understand that gibberish you mumbled at the end there.)
AF: “Cowher and Vick could be quite an interesting match-up, right?”
WS: “Cowher and Vick–oh yeah.”
Spero Dedes: “Is that how bad, though, it’s gotten in K.C.? I mean, they’re waiting for Mike Vick in 2009?”
MF: “It’s not good. It’s not good.”
WS: “It can’t be good.”
First off, it’s pretty to cool to have our site mentioned on the NFLN. Second, Flanny’s gotta be the hottest chick who’s ever read one of my pieces. Third, it’s not every day two Hall of Famers crack up over your post. Fourth, I wanted to get the fans and media (preferably mainstream) talking about how bad things are in K.C., and that we’re already ready to move on to a new coach and quarterback. Mission accomplished.
Thanks to our readers for helping us get noticed! If anyone can find this online or has it taped, shoot us an e-mail and you’ll instantly become our personal hero.

Thats something I don’t get. I know the anchors and media people have to be gentle, but I want someone on ESPN and NFLN to call out this atrocity that is happening with our team, and our pathetic front office.
I don’t live in KC so obviously I don’t know what they’re saying up there, but it has to be said somehwere what a colossal clusterf*ck this franchise is.
Someone saying it other than the fans.
lol. It has to be so hard being a CHiefs fan. 0-16 is very possible
Oh stop it silly…
i heard that this mornin that we called the browns and they said they werent interested…but on scout.com the wrtier says expect the trade talk to heat up this week!? wat do u uthink happens with this situation addicts?
I don’t expect a whole lot.
they usually replay those shows through out the week. it shouldn’t be hard to get the video of them mentioning this website. Sorry for the tough season. it’s time to get rid of herm the sperm.
at least you’re getting some publicity!
Anyone that gets us that video I can give you a small prize
everyone hates you Landry Hat
TLH is just jealous. He couldn’t even get on the Home Shopping Network if he called in.
After how terrible Derek Anderson has been, I think the chances of Getting Quinn went from slim to none. I think Quinn is going to be the starter in two or three weeks. This season is lost for the Browns, it’s time to test out the prized prospect.
Well I’ve read and heard just about everything today in regards to the Chiefs QB situation. From Brady Quinn (not happening), to Michael Vick (will still be in prison after he gets convicted on state charges), to Matt Stafford from the University of Georgia (someone must have been high on that one). Well, good luck! Also – great job on getting recognized on NFL Network!!
Vince Young.
Dear Lord I know he hasn’t been great, but he is benched in Tennessee and they are doing just fine without him, there is a chance he may not play at all this year, so please PLEASE and least give Tennessee a call…
There’s no way we’re ever going to get VY… Again, he’s a Top 3 pick in the draft, they couldn’t take the PR hit for releasing him (although it’d surely be eased a bit after the recent ‘mental health’ issues,) and they couldn’t afford to take the salary cap hit that he would leave behind. Also, Collins, while playing efficiently as a game manager, is older than a fossil, and isn’t the long-term answer, pretty much like Damon Huard is for us. They aren’t going to trade a young and talented QB when they have no real backup plans. They just aren’t gonna part with him, unless we pay a tremendous amount in draft picks, traded players, AND pick up the salary cap hit. We just won’t do it.
Now a player like Losman or Carr, Harrington or Rosenfels, we could use that guy. Their teams already have someone firmly in place and/or backup plans, and they’d be willing to part for something less than a first rounder +. We could probably get any of them for a 3rd rounder + maybe a 5th or so in the 2010 draft. None of them are tremendous talents, just competent enough that they can manage the game for us. The way our running game looked today, and the line looked decent (besides a few plays where Abraham busted through) all we’d need is a SOLID, not GREAT QB. A QB who can complete 50% of his passes would be a start..
Harrington XXXLP? Harrington? Come on now.
Yeah, just say no to Joey. Losman does intrigue me, though. They made the switch in Buffalo just when the talent around him really started playing. He’s impressed me in the past. I believe he might even be a FA. I’ll look into that.
Hey Soap Opera and Worst Team; (by the way nice names for Broncos fans) why don’t you go collect the other 2 Denver fans and go play a round of golf or something else productive. Surely you have better things to do than pick on someone when they are down. And while our guys are under- performing at least they aren’t slapping anyone around like your star wideout or getting shot.
Just remember it isn’t smart to kick anyone when they are down; they might just get up.
To say Losman was taken out just as talent around him started playing well, and then saying Harrington is bad, is like saying you don’t like green apples, but red ones are fine. They’re apples.
In Detroit, when Joey was there, they spent 3 first rounders in a row, on WR’s. None of them played very well. It’s only been recently that Roy Williams (and Calvin Johnson) have started playing like they deserved to be numero uno’s. Detroit also hasn’t had a rushing attack since Sanders, so our O won’t rely on him to carry us, just to be adequate. At the least, you can’t argue that he’s worse than Thigpen. I’ve seen highschoolers in person (in crappy schools in Kansas) that are better than Thigpen fundamentally, and accuracy-wise.
And snap, Lobo. Snap. Way to hand it to Donkey fans. I would sure like an upset over Denver next week. (Ha!) It won’t happen, but it’d sure be a nice treat. Then I’m going to be visiting Donkey forums and posting. I don’t remember any of them talking when we were 13-3 and beating the snot out of them..
