Good to see Herm come to his senses and start Thigpen instead of Huard. A week too late, but oh well. Now, he has to make the same decision replacing the waste of time known as Damion McIntosh wityh Barry Richardson or Herb Taylor.

I actually linked that Brady site in my Vick article, but thanks for the update, Jeremy. All of the updates! I’ll have more on Thigpen soon–just disgusted right now.

QUAID’S LOOSE LIPS FORCE FALCONS TO SCRAMBLE

A source in Atlanta tells us that the Falcons invited actor Dennis Quaid to attend practice on Wednesday, as part of Quaid’s promotion of his new film, The Express.

As part of his visit, Quaid got some inside information about what the Falcons plan to do this weekend against the Chiefs.

And then Quaid blabbed to the press about it.

We’re told that the Falcons then called various media outlets and essentially begged them not to use the tape.

Regarding the content, all we know is that Quaid said something about an unbalanced line.

Chiefs fans, perhaps upset with today’s announcement that Tyler Thigpen will start at QB against the Falcons, have launched a Web site to campaign the team to bring in a new QB. From TheBigLead.com:

“With the struggles of Derek Anderson and the Cleveland offense — tied for last in points per game and third to last in yards per game; this week, good luck in Baltimore — we can’t see the Browns parting with Brady Quinn. But don’t let that get in the way of hopeful Chiefs’ fans, who have started a Get Brady Now Web site.”
