The Cult Of Bernard Pollard
This is unbelievable, fellow Chiefs fans. It’s starting to look like Bernard “Bonecrusher” Pollard isn’t going to be booed on the road too often. Here’s the link to Believe Merch, the Steelers shirt site that’s selling the shirt and celebrating Pollard’s season-ending hit on Tom Brady. They best be given B.P. some royalties. I don’t think name/trademark infringement would make him very happy. He hurt Brady on accident–just think what he could do on purpose. Just kidding, fellas.
(By the way, I think I’m going to holler at those guys and see if they’ll do some Chiefs shirts. I think a ton of us would order them. Those are some badass tees.)

Hmmm, I might just get one.

September 9th, 2008 at 8:13 pmFrom Gretz:
“With Brodie Croyle out 2-to-4 weeks with a shoulder injury, the Chiefs signed Ingle Martin off the Tennessee practice squad.
The also elevated to the 53-man roster from their own practice squad WR Marques Hagans, a former college quarterback at the University of Virginia.
To make room for Martin and Hagans, the Chiefs released RB Jackie Battle and WR Maurice Price with plans of adding them to the practice squad in time for Wednesday’s practice.”
Battle? Fine. Price? Really? Seriously? Why does Sams still have a roster spot? What about Thiggy? Come on!
September 9th, 2008 at 8:14 pmThanks for the update, Scott! I actually like Marques Hagans, and will probably do a post on him soon. Too bad on Price, though. I’ll keep an eye on that as well to make sure nobody else inks him.
