I find it hilarious that so many who are against Brodie because he is injury-prone are in favor of bringing in Chris Simms. I'm not opposed to it mind you, I just find it stunningly ironic. I must be the only here familiar with Simms own injury history.

Last season, 64 different QBs started in the NFL. Injuries to QBs are part of the game. Just because Peyton Manning and Brett Favre have played every game doesn't mean that's the norm much less that it is even a reasonable expectation for every QB.

To bring it a little a closer to home, in 1969, Len Dawson went out with a knee injury in a game against the Patriots. His replacement, Jackie Lee, didn't even last through the next game due to a broken ankle. With virtually no game experience, Mike Livingston came in and won 5 straight. After a six week absence, Dawson returned to lead us to our first and only Super Bowl victory. Just because your QB gets nicked up a bit is not a good reason to panic.

Another example to consider Ben Roethlesberger. Superbowl winner, injury-prone.

Guys, it happens.

Has Brodie has had more than his share of injuries for the short amount of time he's played? Sure, but he's always bounced back and generally done so sooner than expected. That's a pretty good quality to possess I think, especially if you're concerned about durability. For perspective, just imagine losing an MVP QB for an entire season.

Adam, I love D-Bowe, and he will do better, but seriously he blew in this game, and yea he did catch a td, but remember that is his job!

To have 3/4 drops in one game is terrible. Especially the game changers he dropped. I am not a D-bowe hater, and definitely not a brodie lover.

I have gotten over it and am ready for the Raiders!!!

GO CHIEFS!!!

Excellent...my diabolical plan for chiefs domination in 09 is coming along swimmingly (wringing hands)

Brody fell apart (like I knew he would) and Huard will helm us to a 4 and 12 season...hello Michael Oher!

Could you imagine..move Albert back to Left Guard and Oher at Left tackle. You would have monster blind side protection and could you imagine how they would open that hole up for LJ, Smith, and Charles

You guys know that Simms is a Lefty right? and that our right side (lefty blind side) protection blows right? This is one of the main reasons I dont want Tebow next year. I think im the only Chiefs fans left that wants to work a deal with GB for Brian Brohm. Aaron Rodgers looks good and Flynn is a nice backup. Just give us that "sucky" third stringer Brohm for a 4th rounder or something mmm k?

I think the bigest story (that everyone is overlooking) is how awesome our draft class is looking

1st Glen Dorsey.....Awesome (forces double teams)
1st Phat Albert.....Very Good (w/o preseason prep)
2nd Brandon Flowers.Very Good (lockdown?)
3rd Jamaal Charles..Awesome (so fast)
3rd Brad Cottam.....Ehh (shoulda got Brohm)
3rd Dajuan Morgan...? (overshadowed for now)
4th Will Franklin...? (coming soon)
5th Brandon Carr....Very Good (lockdown?)
6th Barry Richardson? (coming soon)
6th Kevin Robinson..? (coming soon)
7th Brian Johnston..? (overshadowed for now)
7th Michale Meritt..Ehh (hard to say)

So far we have 5 outa 11 good players from the draft. Thats an awesome draft! I think 5 was statisticly the best outcome we could have had from an 11 man draft. On top of that Will Franklin, Barry Richardson and Kevin Robinson have serious potential when they come back. And, even on top of that Morgan is being overshadowed by Page and Pollard; Johnston is being overshadowed by Hali and Turk. They may give us some depth.

So. 5 solid starters, 3 with serious potential when they are off injury reserve, and 2 giving us some solid depth....that is an unprecidented draft!

Now, lets do it one more time. Get Oher and shore up the right side of our O Line, rebuild our linebacker corps, and for god sakes...can we find a franchise QB...pleeeese.

It's good to hear from a Pats fan that can see the hit wasn't dirty. That being said...

Take your clam eating ass back to the coast! Did you hear that? It was the sound of everybody jumping off that huge bandwagon you guys drive around! Now who does everybody root for? The Jets I guess.

Sure, Brady will be back...next year! Have fun missing the playoffs. You are nothing without your precious poster boy and his cheating ways. Ah, reverted to mere mortals again. Excellent.
