I think they’ve already started sliding. They’re not nearly the team they were last season with all the players lost to cap/trades/FA, etc. But you’re right kc56… the light at the end of the tunnel is an oncoming train.

Two things: A.) B.P.’s hit was not dirty. B.) Cassel is only going to get better.
This is not ideal for the Pats, but at least this gives Cassel the whole year. From their perspective, anyway. I could care less–Boston sports has had enough good luck recently. Never like to see someone suffer a serious knee injury, though. When you’ve been through one, you know they suck.

Ok, call me a dick if you want but I have been saying that this defence will hurt people this year. Tom Brady was on the list of people who where getting hurt this year. I am not proud we took him out of the season, but our defence is TOUGH fellas and this is going to be a common sight.
