I'd rather trade K. Smith for a guy like Quinn. Quinn is still unproven, Kolby's shown he can ball.

I'd venture to say that no midseason trade takes place. The Pats won't trade us a low pick for someone they could get for free after the Chiefs cut him at season's end. I'd rather see the Chiefs go after a QB that actually has a spot somewhere...like Brady Quinn, even though it pains me to say it. LJ for Quinn?

Trade Huard? That's crazy talking. Keep Huard, dump Thiglet, bring in Simms. That way we have two veteran backups. Hopefully Croyle is not out long.

bannyc9 - you beat me to posting about the Chiefs ans Simms.
I'd be okay with trading Huard as long as we have a Simms type player signed. Huard gives the Pats a nice steady hand throughout the season - enough time for Brady to rehab.

Adam shefter is reporting that the chiefs, titans, and patriots all have contacted Chris Simms. KC is the only shot he would have of starting next year. Brady will be back and they have to much money in Vince Young.

i think the chiefs wont do it because they like a proven player with expierence behind brodie but im all for it!!

Interesting thought. I personally would trade Huard for a bag of footballs, but if we can get a draft pick it would be great. It would of been easier had croyle not got hurt AGAIN.
