I definitely understand that, but I also look at it from another point of view. What's wrong with keeping a baller around? If he makes the practice squad that tells me that he's good enough to be on the team. So, why not keep a guy around that can be used as an example, good and bad? On the good side, you can use his positive aggressive points to put some extra bite into some guys that need it by commending him vocally. On the bad side, you can use his negative aggressive points as an example of what not to do sometimes. Guys sometimes make the roster for all sorts of alternative reasons (i.e. Savage for his heart) why not keep an "example" player around? Besides, how much playing time does the 53rd roster spot player get anyways?

Rumph hurt himself with his out-of-control play. The Sippio move sucks, but I think that the coaches just see him as a poor man's D-Bowe, and are looking for speed. That's the only way I can make any sense of it.

I don't understand keeping so many backs and also Sams. I wish we'd have dumped Sams and Battle and kept Sippio and either Kuale and Rumph.

If we go with 5 RB's, doesn't one of them (Savage) have to be a returner. Plus, with 5 rb's we can't keep two FB's.

So, if this is true.... Manderino, Sams, Sippio, and Svitek are gone. One left?
