Owww, I Feely Good! Feely Signed, Parker Cut

AUTHOR: Adam Best | IN: Breaking News | COMMENTS: 9 Comments

Wow! All in one day, the Chiefs signed a damn good kicker, and my least favorite team cut my least favorite player. Thanks to reader ComeSackMyQB for the tips!

First off, the Chiefs have signed Jay “Touchy” Feely. Yes, he does have the touch. From The Star:

Kicker Jay Feely, cut by the Miami Dolphins two weeks ago, has been signed by the Chiefs to a one-year contract. No other terms were immediately available.

Feely was at practice Monday in Kansas City.

In 2007, his first season with the Dolphins, Feely experienced the most productive season of his career and in Dolphins franchise history.

As if that wasn’t good enough news, those bums the Broncos have cut that bum Samie Parker. Celebrate that, Uno Ocho. From Red Zone:

Former Chiefs wide receiver Samie Parker was just released by Denver. It’s never a good sign when a veteran doesn’t make it to the final round of cuts.

And I could have done without the smartass Bobby Sippio barb, Teicher. I caught that. Freakin’ Teicher…

I expect Feely to be our starting kicker, maybe even for years to come. I’ve always liked him. Good to see us actually spend some change. As for Parker, he’ll flourish on some other team…in Canada!

That freaking made my day I’m laughing so hard. I haven’t even read what he said, just your reaction is hillarious. I hate Adam Teicher.

Anyways, thumbs up on the Jay Feely signing. I don’t care if the guy is 4′ tall and purple as long as we can forget about it as soon as we send him in to kick a FG.

First Adam.. you guys here at AA Kick Arse! Love this place.

    Secondly bring on the DRAFT!

Okay.. I had to laugh as today Mr.Wide Right about “As far as I am concerned I am a Kansas City Chief”. Hah! There is a GOD out their and I believe Mr.Feely Really Good is a good deal!

Now I have to be a bit honest with you all here…. I was a little bit sad to see Samie the slippy hands Parker get cut by the Donkeys. I was praying for the day when not long from now we would see SSHP playing against us. That would have been sweet bliss.

This last game was a pathetic performance by us, but and I stress BUT I believe that with the way we played Chan has something up his sleeves. Are you kidding me? There is no way in hell that for a second I will accept that we played to win the game. Not a chance….. Looking back at the Bears game, come on. I will make this one short as I will still stick with my words that The Chiefs/Pats game we are on top at the end of 4!!!

    GO CHIEFS!!!!!!!

  4. thats a bold prediction buddy but u know i would love nothing more i hope we could pull the upset!!

    GO CHIEFS!!

According to The Charlotte Observer (courtesy of RedZone), Parker just signed with the Panthers. We may get to see him in action against the Red and Gold after all! Unless he gets KO’d by Steve Smith that is.

The Chiefs released veteran kicker Jay Feely today, one day after signing him.

Feely went 11-15 on field goals Monday and 13 of 15 today but that wasn’t as good as either Connor Barth (28 of 30, including a perfect 15 of 15 today) or Nick Novak (27 of 30). Barth and Novak will kick for the job in Thursday night’s game against the Rams at Arrowhead Stadium.

Much more to come, including some interesting comments from Feely’s agent, in Wednesday’s Kansas City Star
