He undoubtedly does. He's the most accounted-for man on that D. Every linemen knows exactly where he's at on every single snap of the game, gauranteed. Now how much of that is actually Shawn Merriman, and how much is 'the juice'? Time will tell. So far, he's looked like a scrub. His numbers decreased after he 'came clean'. He's a joke as far as I'm concerned. Any team can blitz a linebacker EVERY play, and rack up sacks for that player. Merriman is overrated. He doesn't make his team any better. It's all a facade.
