Ex-Chief Horn Could Become Donkey, Sparkler

As you guys probably know, Joe Horn was cut today. The ex-Chiefs receiver apparently has interest in both the Broncos and Chargers. Man, would it be weird seeing him in one of those unis or what? From ESPN’s AFC West Blog:

Among the teams newly released wide receiver Joe Horn has an interest in playing for includes the San Diego Chargers and Denver Broncos. His agent, Ralph Vitolo, said he plans to talk to both teams.

“If they are interested in us, we’d be interested in them,” Vitolo said of the Chargers and the Broncos.

He would likely be a reserve either place, so I still think Dallas is his most likely destination. If he does end up back in the AFC West, it certainly won’t be with us. Been there done that. No need to rekindle the flame with the washed-up diva receiver when we’re rebuilding.

According to profootballtalk.com, Horn and his agent have contacted every single team (besides the Falcons) about playing.

It also says he prefers the Dolphins, Cowboys, Jaguars, Titans, or Rams.

Let him screw up their teams too for all I care…he is a “me” guy…like the others I dislike…

the PFT report is true also…you can tell from the quote how open they are to anything…

“If they are interested in us, we’d be interested in them,”

He’s perfect for the donks… another loud-mouthed marginal talent who will further carbonate their team chemistry.

I only wish he was twins so they could BOTH sign him. :)
