A.A.D.Q: Players Of The Game?

My players of the game were Dantrell Savage and Turk McBride. There were others that also played well, though. Brandon Flowers. Larry Johnson. Maurice Price. It’s a tough call. Especially when the variables–like playing time and competition faced–were uneven. I’m sticking with my two choices.

Addicts, who were your players of the game tonight?

I’m going with Flowers and Turk. Turk showed he does have the ability to hang with the starters, and be productive. Flowers also was HUGE tonight, even Herm had a humungous grin on his face when asked about Flowers. That kid’s confidence has to be sky-high at the moment. Hanging with one of the league’s best, and having a damn good showing. It was nice. Carr didn’t look that bad either, but not on the level Flowers was playing at.

    Flowers, Turk - first half

“Macho Man” Savage stole the show in the 2nd.

Claude McBride sounds like one of the Three Musketeers or something. Not that Turk doesn’t, I guess. Crazy guy.

After watching that game Savage may be my new favorite Chiefs player. He may only be 5′8″ but hes got the heart of a 7 foot man. He may not be a Dante Hall but the kid can play and played harder the last two games than any other chiefs player. And I’m hoping after last night I won’t have to hear anymore about Sammie, oops i mean Bobby Sippio. Offensive MVP: Kolby Smith, Larry looked good, but Kolby looked better. Defensive:Brandon Flowers and of course Dustin Colquit looked awesome.
