It’s gameday, finally, and there are a lot of things that I’ll be monitoring tonight. Primarily, these two things: A.) Can Chan Gailey’s first-string offense pull an encore to its terrific showing in Chicago?; and B.) Can the Chiefs muster any kind of pass rush against a pretty solid offensive line?
What will you be watching for when the Chiefs play the Cardinals at Arrowhead tonight, fellow Addicts?

Looks like Kent Babb and I are thinking along the same lines. Pretty obvious what’s important tomorrow. Of course, I’ll also be watching the young corners.
I’ll definitely be watching our corners as well. Particularly Flowers. He was pretty much a non-factor against the Bears, and that worried me.
But mostly, I’ll be watching GLENN DORSEY. How did you not mention the Bayou Bruiser?
Also, I’d like to see Brodie and Bowe hook up for more than a 9-yard gain. I’d also like to see LJ break a decent YPC average.
Yes, very important for our corners to stop Boldin and Fitzgerald…
It’s all pretty dang important really…
How much pressure can we put on the QB?
How effective our offense can be?
If Brodie can play well against a team that ISN’T a Tampa Two base defense…?
Can we return it past the 25?
etc…
I wouldn’t say ’stop’ as much as ’slow down’ Anquan and Larry. They’re without a doubt in the top two WR duo’s in the NFL right now. Even if Flowers gets beat a few times. If he can hang with either of those guys effectively on most snaps he plays, it should boost his confidence. That’s always a good thing. I’ll be watching Herb Taylor the closest, probably. He looked good last week, besides the one play. Also wanna see how well Bruiser’s knee looks.
I’d like to see Brian Johnston get more time at RE early… Hali isn’t a RE and we aren’t going to get a rush from him worth mentioning.
I’m anxious to see all of our new guys get more time.
16 hours is too long.
I’m real interested to see if we can make any strides in our kick return game – we weren’t horrible last week, but I wouldn’t quite call us solid either. We need someone to bust a long return just to give the rest of the kick return team confidence that it CAN be done with their personnel.
I hope Herb get 2.5-3 quarters to play at least. He’s growing into the job right before our very eyes and if he can keep it up, then we can give Albert all the time he needs to get well.
I know Swampfoot aint gonna play too much, but it would warm my heart if the starting Dline could pressure a mistake… force a fumble… or an interception… oh yea… and STUFF the run a time or two. Brian Johnson needs to play as long as Herb does as well – regardless of results. He appears to have the tools but he needs to play to grow.
man… I love the way the excitement starts to build on this site… and the way we all come together in spite of all the rib-pokin we do the rest of the week. It almost feels like family around here.
Bobby Sippio, because just like Jerry Rice, he’s slow.
im watching….
1.can the chiefs muster any pass rush
2.the development of croyle and the new offense
3.our young secondary against bolden and fitzgerald
4.our lb situation
GO CHIEFS!!

That’s where we got the game last week. I’m guessing they’ll have it again. I’ll inquire.

Sign me up for the live blog again guys… assuming I can find a website that has the game on in real time. Otherwise, I get the three second delay with the Voice of the Chiefs.
CMF, it does feel like a family. Hey, all fams are a little dysfunctional at times.
Someone will find the game…just make sure to report it so we can hook everybody up!

ya know Adam, I just noticed in my comment under ‘Rave Reviews’ (thx for that btw!!) that you removed a little piece and when you read it now you dont see I was talking about the live chat during the game.
ah… Columbia MO… two forms of entertainment: 907 bars… and Stephens College… muwahahahahaha….
Yeah, CMF, I had to edit it down so it would fit up there. Hope that’s cool. And no problemo! We’re always looking for great quotes about the site, and wanted one from one of our own to go with the ESPN one.
I just thought folks would like to know it was the chat thing… but it’s cool with me… edit as you will. I just checked out stoogetv and it doesn’t look like the game will be on there today… so lets keep everyone posted in the chat if we find one.
