OK, not literally, but close enough. Today, our parent company, Fan-Sided Blogs, dropped team previews for all 32 NFL teams, found exclusively on Yard Barker. Some of the highlights:

- I predicted: Dwayne Bowe to be our team MVP; Maurice Price and Turk McBride to be our break-out players; Derrick Johnson to be our best defensive player; and Donnie Edwards and his hamstrings to be our biggest disappointment. Head over here to read the rest of what I wrote about our beloved Chiefs.
- The Panthers are going to go 10-6 or 11-5. Really?
- Brett Favre will take the Jets to the Super Bowl?
- The Arizona Cardinals should go 12-4 on paper?
- No Ravens‘ offensive player is worthy enough to be on your fantasy squad.
- The Dolphins are basically going to blow again.
- Cancel the Super Bowl and the halftime show (The Boss!)–the Cowboys are already a lock to win it all.
- Jason Campbell could have a break-out year.
- Bernard Berrian could be a bust.
- Nate Burleson should be a fantasy stud this year.
- We were smart to pass on big Max Starks.
Seriously, head on over there. Not only is this Zach and my network (gotta support your hometown boys!), but this is a group of fellow NFL fans passionately writing about their favorite teams. There also is enough content over there to keep you from doing any actual work for the rest of the week!

Good links and GREAT write up on the Chiefs. Just proving to the rest of the NFL that AA is the best!
Did anyone catch Herm on the Jim Rome show today? I heard he was on but missed it. Post a link to audio if you’ve got it!
Jester–thanks!
We’ll try to find that link and get it up!
Nice preview Adam. I am shocked, I tell you shocked! You gave props to D-Bowe and Price……. and no Sippio!!!!!! I almost fell out of my chair reading that. If you are looking for directions back to the Sippio bandwagon, it’s down three paces, take a left at Reality and keep going and going and going
I didn’t mention Sippio, except in an addendum in the comments. I’m not going to predict him being a break-out player when I’m not sure the coaches will even give him a shot.
Thanks, by the way. While I’m down on Webb, I do like Mo Price quite a bit. It would be a shame to see either him or Sipp get cut for that excrement.
And everyone knows I splurge on front row tickets to The Show
WOW! That Baltimore post has to be the most sorry excuse for a prediction I have read in a while. The guy claims that since Jamal Lewis left, there hasn’t been a fantasy player worth consideration. Last time I checked, McGahee was a top 10 back last year in fantasy scoring. That seems worthy of fantasy consideration. He even says he will be a 1,000 yard back, and says Clayton will go for 800 yards and 6 tds, but those numbers are not worthy of fantasy consideration. Has he ever played fantasy football? Those numbers might not be fantasy worthy in a 3 team league, but even an 8 team format would take both those players. My second favorite part of this joke of a post, he calls the defense the best bet to be a fantasy stud, but they were 21st in fantasy scoring last year in my league. I’m sorry, but that post was turrible.
Yeah, I think he might have meant they’ve had no fantasy superstars, but I hear ya
By the way, what about The Landry Hat saying Jason Campbell was going to fall out of football and turn to crack? My God.
Well McGahee is already having knee surgery.
And Todd Heap is usually curled up in a Heap hurt.
I have so much hatred for Heap after last year, I made a trade for him, and he didn’t play one down for my team. Absolute poison to anyone who drafts him.
From CBS Sportsline.com, they had this to say about McGahee today:
“Analysis: Arthroscopic knee surgery isn’t a huge deal to come back from, but it can be nagging for a player over the course of a season. Moreover, McGahee is expected to be the centerpiece of the Ravens’ offense, but one that would be playing alongside a suspect passing game and an offensive line already battered by injuries. McGahee has played in a similar scenario before in Buffalo and did not fare very well (his second and third seasons there resulted in marginal touchdown production and a sub-4.0 rush yard average). Suddenly, McGahee doesn’t look like a stud No. 1 Fantasy RB worth a top-12 pick. With his value dropping for the reasons mentioned, treat McGahee as a fair No. 2 Fantasy RB worth a choice between the middle and late parts of Round 2.”
McGahee May not be a no. 1 fantasy back, but I would take him on my team any day over a lot of other backs in the league. He is one of the few backs that isn’t in a major time share. But to list the Ravens D as being at all fantasy relevant is ridiculous. They have the most overrated defense in football. Anyone that drafts them as a starting defense is going to be sad.
By the way Zach, I’m not disputing the fact that McGahee does have some red flags with his knee now, but to write that the Ravens have no studs, then list the statistics that he expects Clayton and McGahee to achieve as not being stud material is a little mixed up if you ask me. Both of those guys are definitely ownable. I also think that he didn’t necessarily say any players weren’t worthy to be on your team after rereading the article, just that there weren’t any offensive studs, so I think the title of the link was a little misleading.
Sure, I hear ya. I just think of fantasy studs as the guys that win you championships like Brady, Manning, AP, LT, Westbrook and a few others. To each his own, no worries
To me, the definition of a fantasy stud is a guy that is a starter no matter what, no matter the match up, you play them, because they are gonna get theirs. A non-stud is the kind of player you have to rotate out against a superior defense or offense. McGahee was that kind of player last year, and I think he will be again this year. I think Clayton will be as well in 12 team leagues with 3 receivers. I have always been of the belief that the guys you pick early don’t win your championship anyways. I think statistics prove that a lot of times the early picks rely on luck. The later round wins you a championship.
I would consider some of those your talking about as a “must-start”. So we call our guys different things, no need to keep arguing
