A.A.D.Q.: Can I Kick It?

We’re going to keep it simple today. If you could hang out with one current Chiefs‘ player, who would it be? I’m going to have to say Tony Gonzalez. Dwayne Bowe, Tank Tyler and a lot of the other young bucks would be a blast, but I think I’m getting a little old for those cats (about to turn the big 3-0). Tony G and I would have more in common. Plus, maybe I’d get to see October up close and personal. Larry Johnson is an artsy, big city guy as well, so I’d also like to kick it with my boy Iron Man (not to mention, possibly meet Jigga).

Which current Chief would you want to kick it with? Let us know!

I'd go with Gun. He's German heritage just like me and I hear he likes to drink beer. We'd have a blast bullshitting about the old Chiefs days and then I'd get him hammered and listen to cuss words I've never even thought of!

Eddy Drumand, except he would be missing at the end of the night.

The ol' Brodie boner prank--classic.

i'd say brodie were both southern boys born and raised

I wouldn't be opposed to Feely, but Barth and Novak seem to be doing fine.

And great call on Colquitt. I forgot that prank he pulled on Brodie in the dorms.

Good call on Colquitt!

As for Jay Feely, why not? His price tag might be a little steep for the King, though.

BTW, Jay Feely got cut... Apparently, 6 or 7 teams have been in contact. Can HE get a touchback?

Dustin Colquitt, fo sho. Kid's the joker of the team. I definitely see a Saturday night date of dinner, a movie, and going house-to-house leaving flaming bags of poo.

I seem to recall seeing Tamba's Mom on the tv at a game in Arrowhead last year... so I do think he got them all out.

How bout Tamba. His story is one of the most amazing in the NFL.

Speaking of which. Does anyone know if he ever managed to get his mother out of Liberia?

While I love the current team, I'm gonna have to go REAL old school and say Lenny Dawson - there's a guy whos seen and done it all since the NFL was in diapers... I'd love to hear him talk about what it was like playing in all those stadiums that are gone forever now against guys like Gale Sayers and Hacksaw Reynolds and Jack Ham. Maybe I could buy him a KC Strip somewheres?

I would have to go with BUTTER on this one...

I would have to say Brodie. I would like to go do some hunting and four wheeling through the country. I'm a southern boy myself and hunting is in my blood. Plus wake up early in the morning and seeing his wife cook up some breakfast, I hope she's still wearing her PJ's.

I'd have to say Tony G for the same reasons as xxxlp. Plus, he'd have so many great 'war' stories to tell from playing pro football to college basketball.

DJ would also be pretty cool to hang out with. I really like his attitude and intensity as a player and KC Star ran a good article on him a few months ago that showed some of his grounded, down-home personal side.

I'd take Brodie hunting. Yeah, that probably proves just how country I am....but there is nothing better that gettin out at the ass crack of dawn with good company, good scenery, and good game.

Brodie, LJ, D-Bowe, or Tony.

Good one, CSMQ, I'm going to go classic style and pick Tony G. It's not everyday you get to hang with THE BEST at his position in the world, at anything, let alone a guy who's saved lives. And been on Oprah. And has a hot wife. And.. the list goes on.

Id have to say Donnie Edwards cuz he plays LB and thats what i played but more than that he played with my all time hero DT and maybe he could tell me what he was like in person

SBC - No. You could be his driver I guess.

Donovan - NICE!

Learn some dance moves from Bernard Pollard...

Can I still say Jared Allen?

Can I pick Krumrie? I am coach and would love to learn a little something from him.

As far as player goes I think I would have to say Brian Waters. The guy is a class act. Maybe we could do a United Way commercial (lol).
