As I recall it was Soldier Field where they banned beer sales after about the halfway point of the third quarter - to which a number of fans responded by not buying tickets anymore and just coming to the stadium parking lot to tailgate and get soused with their buds from before the truncated beer sales policy.:( And this is DEFINATELY a beer story. Those fans who have tickets can still come early and tailgate - though I have no idea who would prefer pizza and hotdogs to KC BBQ...
