A.A.D.Q.: If You Could Only Go To One Home Game…

…which one would it be? I might have to say the Tampa Bay Buccaneers game, after the developments of the past 24 hours. Then again, the Broncos are always the Chiefs‘ “red letter” game. We also saw the Saints and Titans, and Reggie and V.Y., just last year. The Dolphins? That game could easily end up being the Toilet Bowl, with a better draft pick at stake for the loser (even though I’ll end up going because I’ll be back home for Christmas, and tickets will be dirt cheap). I’m rolling with the November 2 Bucs game.

Addicts, if you could only go to one Chiefs’ home game at Arrowhead in ‘08, which home game would it be?

If Brett Favre goes to Tampa Bay, then I want that game.

Otherwise, Raiders. And if not Raiders, Titans so I can watch Vince Young play.

I already purchased my tickets for the Nov. 2 Tampa Bay game. But get this, I bought them several weeks ago before I even thought Favre would go to TB. Just chance, as one of my vacations is that week.

Fortunately for me, I’ll be at all of them this year as a first time season ticket holder…can’t wait!

If I could only attend one I would choose the 11/16 game against ths Saints. They should be pretty good this year and it would be nice to see the Chiefs put a hurtin’ on a decent NFC team.

I am sick of the Favre saga and at this point don’t want to see him again. I guess it wouldn’t be too bad seeing him under a pile of red jerseys though!

Donkeys game. Hands down. Every year. I hate those guys.

If not, then the Faders game.

    Double D Says:

Assuming the Chiefs show improvement as the season progresses then absolutely San Diego.

After that, I’d say Tennessee, Tampa Bay, and maybe even Buffalo could be interesting and entertaining match ups.

    Cornelius Says:

I think I’ve professed my love for the Saints as my NFC team of choice several times. If I went to that game, I’d see a win no matter what happened.

    Zach Says:

I am with Scott on this one, Donkeys then Faiders

    JASON Says:

    Sudden Says:

Put me down as wanting to see the home opener vs. Oakland because I have way too many friends that are Raiders fans and I love sending the picture of the scoreboard back (the only Arrowhead game I ever left California for was against Oakland).

But if I could choose one game, home or away, I’d love to see the Chiefs at Foxboro to open the season.

    JASON Says:

sorry huge and cornelius how do you see a win if you’re a chiefs fan you cant go both ways we already discussed that

If I’m going to see a game… it’s going to be at Arrowhead. No way I miss out on a collective orgy of will with Chiefs fans in support of our guys. That being said, if it’s not Denver… it’s Tennessee.

I get some pecularly peaceful sense of justice when I hate on the ponyboyz… kind of hard to describe, I just know all is right in the world with that feeling. If I can’t see them, at least I get to watch our D go after his nimbleness Vince.

I hate the faiders and the dolts too, but it’s almost impossible not to feel sorry for the faiders these days… all those poor bastards forced to endure the last gasping eccenticitries of Al Davis… there’s just no joy in hating them.

As to the dolts, my doctor has recommended that I not even watch those guys on TV as the stress of that much hate could stop my clock.

    SEANBCOOL Says:

CMZ, bite your tongue. It is NEVER impossible to not feel sorry for the Raiders. I don’t even use the word ‘hate’, but I HATE the Raiders. I grind my teeth every time I see video of their stupid greasy thugs of fans in the stands dressed in their ridiculous Halloween costumes like their so scary or something. I mean literally, being around Raiders fans isn’t good for my health.

seanbcool… you are toooooo easy brother toooooo easy!

    xxxlp Says:

I’d watch the Titans game, as I’ve stated before, Titan’s are my other team I root for when they’re not playing the Chiefs.

  17. 17
    Adam Says:

I hate the Donkeys worse than the Silver and Blah. I just do. A darkness fills my heart when I think about Shanny’s crew. That being said, the Raiders are next on the list. It’s hard to put them in the same class as the Broncos, however, when they’ve been a running punchline for five years. I hate the Bolts, too, but they are kind of like the AFC West’s red-headed stepchild. I mean, their fans just aren’t good enough for them to be part of the Broncos-Chiefs-Raiders rivalry.

    Cornelius Says:

Somebody called out my fanhood? Last I checked, football fans are allowed one AFC and one NFC team. I’d much rather have the Chiefs win, but I’ll take what I can get.

  19. 19
    Adam Says:

I don’t have an NFC team. I don’t have an NFL Europe team. I don’t have a CFL team. I don’t even have an Arena League team. All I have is my Chiefs!

    That’s just me, though.

  20. 20
    Double D Says:

One NFL team per NFL fan. Man law. Those are the rules.

  21. 21
    thebryman Says:

Cornelius, I think you misunderstood what people were calling out, it’s not your fanhood, it’s your manhood. I believe Double D hit the nail on the head. I don’t know where you get your info on being allowed an AFC and NFC team, why not just make it one team per division if that is your logic.

  22. 22
    Scott Says:

+1 Adam. Chiefs ONLY for me. Screw everyone else. Especially the pansy-ass NFC.

But…If Corn must have an NFC team at least it’s not the old fairweather default…Lambs.
