I'm usually with ya on just about everything Sean (at least recently) but I'm quite sick of hearing about Brett too. This whole offseason was nothing but Brett. There was TV shows documenting his life. There were highlight shows. There were countless angles of every aspect of his life broadcast for all to see, over and over again. And again. And then one time for anyone who missed it. And then once more for good measure. The NFL/ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNespanola/ESPNocho(for you Dodgeball fans)/Any random news channel that was worth a damn/many that weren't, networks, had headline news covering Brett Favre.

Yes, the man deserves props. Yes, the man also deserves a kick in the nuts for MAKING this mess himself. He shouldn't have a made a hasty decision so close to the end of the season after a back-breaking loss in which he cost them the game. He was tired and mentally fatigued, and needed rest. He could have said I'm going to WAIT to announce, but no... HE RETIRED. It IS his fault that he's been all over the headlines.

And it's rather annoying. Literally.. Turn on NFL access, and I'll bet you any amount of money you can afford that a full 3/5ths of their program is mentioning Brett in some way, shape or form. A bit of rookie hype thrown in there, a bit of talking about the Patsies, or Chad Johnson back in camp, even Steve Smith breaking Lucas's nose, and then straight-away back to Favre. Favre, Favre, Favre. I too, wish it would end, so we'd have peace.

I have to think back to the last fights of Ali and Joe Louis, and the clips of Namath and Unitas as Rams.

It's not Brett Favre's fault that fans were chanting his name at training camp. He stayed away. Jeeze, just blame everything on the guy. As for the phone records, he has friends on the Vikings coaching staff. He can't talk to his friends?

And so what if he has second thoughts about retiring? He's only the best quarterback in the history of football.

Not sure if anyone was at the GB Chiefs game but I thought we had it won, and made sure the GB fans in front of me knew it. They just would smile and say "just watch".

Two incredible pass completions and I , as well as the rest of the arrowheads in the place didnt have much to say.
