K.C. Native David Cook To Kick Off Home Opener
For all you American Idol fans, especially the ladies, David Cook will sing the National anthem at the Chiefs‘ home opener. From MyFox:
The Kansas City Chiefs announced on Tuesday that American Idol champion and Blue Springs, Missouri native David Cook will perform the National Anthem on September 14th when the Chiefs host the Oakland Raiders at Arrowhead Stadium. David will perform the anthem with his younger brother, Andrew Cook.
I must say, David is a helluva lot cooler than any other A.I. winner. His influences include Pearl Jam, a Best Brothers’ favorite, and he performed classic tracks like “Billie Jean” and “Baba O’Riley” on the show.
Yea, I won tickets for me and my wife to see american idol last year. It was loud and so obnoxious with all the 12 year olds. The one thing that really disgusted me was when that san jaya guy gets on stage with tight red leather pants and struts around….and keep in mind that the vast majority of the audience was 12-15 year olds and their parents……disgusting..
Also, this is my first post on this website and I want you guys to know that I love your website. Your funny, pretty balanced. This is usually the first website I go to for any chiefs’ information(I also go to arrowheadpride too) Keep up the good work fellas!
