I kind of miss Allen, but at the same time its good that all seems quiet on the Chiefs front. No drama. This time last year the topic was (amongst others) about who would fill in for him during his suspension for drinking and driving. After the season it was "will the Chiefs pay him." Same with the year before.

Quote of the day: A taunting Chiefs fan to the Vikings' defense, after it had been gashed for some long runs: "Bet you guys wish you had Jared Allen. Oh, wait, he can't stop the run, either."

I thought that was funny. I still wish we had the guy though. I'm still down with the movement too.

"What Albert has shown so far in camp is that he’s a quick learner. Veteran pass rushers can fool him at times with inside moves, but he’s picking up the clues and starting to diagnose his opponent. Now, the Chiefs have to hope this ankle thing isn’t some chronic problem. Remember, he missed the last workouts of the off-season program after suffering an ankle injury."

That worries me a little bit.
