DE migtht end up being the place we have to go in FA to get a monster to get us over the top. But I say give the guys we’ve got (particularly the Johnson kid) two seasons (this one and ’09) to develop before we fork over the fat dough for a FA.

DJ, that is very light. He’ll need his MMA skills at that weight. I’m worried we’re going to have two LEs (Tamba and Turk), a rookie and a DT playing DE this season. Might be something we have to draft next year.

Mitch Holthus on Red Zone with Soren Petro Wednesday said Tamba was down to 255. I love the guy, but I’m worried he’s gonna get shoved around by those 320 lb tackles. The guy needs to seriously beef up.
