DE migtht end up being the place we have to go in FA to get a monster to get us over the top. But I say give the guys we’ve got (particularly the Johnson kid) two seasons (this one and ‘09) to develop before we fork over the fat dough for a FA.

DJ, that is very light. He’ll need his MMA skills at that weight. I’m worried we’re going to have two LEs (Tamba and Turk), a rookie and a DT playing DE this season. Might be something we have to draft next year.

Mitch Holthus on Red Zone with Soren Petro Wednesday said Tamba was down to 255. I love the guy, but I’m worried he’s gonna get shoved around by those 320 lb tackles. The guy needs to seriously beef up.

Yeah, it’s looking like this is a similar injury to the one that held Waters out for three weeks or so. The silver lining in this is that Branden Albert is going to learn under fire anyway. As shitty as Damion is playing at least this way Taylor and Richardson will get some valuable experience. One of them may have to step in for him before the year concludes.
