As for Phil Simms, he was damn good but I think he might be a tad bit old. Maybe Chris instead? I’m just playing–I know what you meant, and it’s good to see someone else considering another young quarterback. It’s not anti-Brodie at all, it’s more anti-Huard, and to a lesser degree anti-Thigpen.

I’d have to say that based on all the reports I’ve seen/heard so far, Brodie is probably the one guy that has me most jazzed. It sounds like he’s all over it. The main concern seems to be with who will be his backup. Everybody’s saying Huard is looking horrid but that just might be a combination of veteran cobwebs while trying to learn a new offense. The situation bears watching and if things continue to look sketchy then going after a guy like Phil Simms might not be a bad move.
