I never said you were wrong, I simply expressed my interpretation of the quote, which is just as valid as yours. It’s YOUR problem that you have a chip on your shoulder. I’m well aware of the article. I read “Herm Buries 4-12″ in full earlier today. The entire point of the story (which most of the quotes come from) is that the team didn’t finish games. It even has a graph dedicated to it.

I told the guys to not just come here and show up. It’s not about showing up and trying to survive. It’s about getting better and doing the little things right. So, we’ve stressed that in the spring and now we’ve got to stress it in camp when the pads come on and guys get sore. All of a sudden in the fourth day you’re sore and you’re hurt.
