I was a huge Dante Hall fan. I'll never forget him returning the opening kickoff of the second half for a touchdown in the 2004 playoff game. One thing with Dante, our punt return team was much better during his time here, but he was still able to create something even when everything else broke down (@ Mile High was one of the most amazing returns I've ever seen). That said, I have high hopes the Kevin Robinson will be that good and then some. But hell, we could have Chris Bober returning kickoffs and we'd still get better field position than with Eddie Drummond.

OK, I think Dante Hall is one of the most talented kick returners of all time. I honestly think the problem in his last year or two as a Chief was that Dick Vermiel wanted to utilize him more as a receiver.

If you have a KR that talented, just let them do their thing. Don't wear them out playing another position and take away from their return practice time.

Devin Hester's production will go down too, once Chicago starts utilizing him as a receiver more. Just watch.

The garbage comment was a bit harsh, and, yes, Dante was my favorite Chief for a couple years. What I was saying is that, for him, he was pretty mediocre (at best) his last year. And he was really a game changer like Hester in 2002-03, maybe '04 as well. Sorry, Dante. After seeing you as a shell of your former self in '06, sometimes I forget that you earned your Arrowhead :)
