New Sister Site: Toro Times

It’s been a while since we’ve added a site to the network, but it’s that time again. Toro Times, a blog dedicated to the upstart Houston Texans, is the newest FSB site. Go over there and give John and his readers some hell for starting off our season on the wrong foot last year! Oh, and also for that Trent Green pick-six game. What a nightmare that was!

I’ve never liked the Texans.
Or the Colts for that matter, which I suppose is only fitting considering the fact that the Chiefs would be the only logical candidate to replace the Jaguars in the AFC South if they were to move from Jacksonville to Los Angeles. While it’s pure speculation at this point, it’s looking like a real possibility. And I’d die if the Chiefs were taken out of the AFC West. Is anyone else concerned about this?
June 14th, 2008 at 4:18 pmThe NFL will never take the Chiefs away from the Raiders and Broncos. Sean I wouldnt worry one bit. This would be suicide for the NFL….
June 14th, 2008 at 4:26 pmI don’t know about suicide, but surely there is another option. They could always move the Jags to the NFC West, where the Los Angeles Rams fit in, and move the Rams to the AFC South. The Rams are closer to the Colts and Titans geographically anyways, and not really any further from Houston. Makes sense to me.
June 14th, 2008 at 4:59 pmOh, good lord. The Jags would frickin dominate the NFC West. I wish we were in that crappy ass division (not really, I do love playing the Donkeys and Faders twice a year).
And the Lambs would get absolutely skull-fucked in the AFC South. They better hope that deal doesn’t go down.
June 15th, 2008 at 7:11 pmI can’t see the NFL handling that situation by switching two teams’ conferences. Moving the Chiefs to the AFC South would be the much simpler move, and make a lot more sense. As much as I’d hate to see it happen.
It could be worse though. The Chiefs used to be the Texans. So there’s that. And the Chiefs and Colts are playoff rivals. So we’ve got that too.
But I would still cry.
