Well the same usually applies for my comments as well, dude. Particularly the “don’t you write for Walter Football” comment I directed at Adam.

That wasn’t intended to be mean or hateful. It was just a smartassed comment comparing the pessimism.

If I acted like it was sooo ludicrous, I would have written more than give me a break.

In the future, take my comments and articles with a grain of salt. They are often written with tongue fully in cheek.

You don’t have to have an insult or dis in your comments to get your point across, often it backfires as you have found out. These are comments, not a debate.

It was a funny link. I showed it to a friend of mine the first time I got a chance.

What sparked this whole thing was you acting like it was just soooo ludicrous that I would prefer a winning season to a top ten pick any day of the week. Monday? Yep. Tuesday? Yep. Wednesday-Sunday? Absolutely. Chinese New Year? You bet.

And it got out of hand. And I’m partially responsible for that and I apologize.

Whitlock has…personally, I love me some Crane Damage. Some Chiefs fans get their panties in a wad if opinions aren’t 100% optimistic. Sorry to disagreeable and shake things up, but not everyone believes that we are going to win eight or more games this year, nor that that is the path to the Super Bowl. We haven’t had a lot of top ten picks either, and maybe that’s been the problem. Especially QB-wise. A good deal of successful QBs are picked in the first half of the first round.

Anyway, I’m rolling out of this debate. It got a little too intense over here. All I want to say is that nobody should ever get upset that someone is being realistic or even pessimistic when it comes to the Chiefs. You don’t have to have blinders on to be a loyal fan. I just want to remind fans that, because sometimes I think I and other Chiefs writers and bloggers practically get impaled any time they don’t give a glowing review or prediction.

And by the way, perhaps I should highlight some things for you:

“We are *RELATIVELY* deep at O-line *FOR THE MOMENT*.”

“And right now we have 17 offensive linemen *TO WORK WITH* before our roster is finalized.”

Just thought I’d point those key words out to you since you appear to be context-blind. The “hooked on phonics” comment was more or less giving you the benefit of the doubt. Figured maybe if you can’t read all the words you have an excuse for ignoring their meaning.
