If you haven’t heard the shocking it-was-only-a-matter-of-time news about Chris Terry, he’s been busted and suspended for drugs yet again. Considering Mike Solari depended on guys like Terry, John Welbourn and Kyle Turley to bolster his run-first offensive scheme, it’s no surprise that he’s now the Chiefs ex-offensive coordinator. His autopsy definitely has their names all over it. I mean who, besides Carl Peterson, really thought those three misfit hasbeens were going to pan out?
Thank goodness for Brandan Albert and, GULP, Chan Gailey. Did I just say that…out loud? Really?

and at that time I would say he was the weakest link in that unit. He was riding the coattails of the other 4.

The best Chief’s O-line at that time was the Roaf, Waters, Weigmann, Shields and Tait line. That was an awesome line. Welbourn was decent at best.
On another note, just how big was Herm’s ‘tollerance box’??? I am getting the idea that is was more of a holding pen than a box.
The thing is, we weren’t interested at all in T.O., yet Herm takes in marginally talented headcases like these? I’m scratching my head, too, Merlin.
And Welbourn was never very good at all as a Chief, and he was especially horrid (and, no, that doesn’t mean “badass”, Sean) last year.
