Jags Sign Former 2005 Pick

by Chiefs

AA FA UpdateCraphonso Thorpe has been signed by another NFL team after spending last season with the Indianapolis Colts. The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed him to a contract worth $370,000. Big Cat Country believes that Thorpe will be the Jags return man relieving Maurice Jones-Drew of his return duties.

Craphonso Thorpe was signed by the Jaguars to compete for a roster spot. He’ll most likely have to make his mark returning punts or kicks, because it looks like the Jaguars aren’t gonna let MJD carry that load any longer.

I was surprised to see that this is actually Thorpe’s fifth NFL squad. He has been on the Chiefs, Lions, Texans, Colts, and now the Jags.

how is that guy still in this league?

Memo to Jack Del Rio
- Good luck with that Crap.

The only reason I remember this guy is that he was a starter for the Chiefs on Madden 06. That and his name starts with "Crap".

Here's a fun little nugget: He was only a member of the Texans squad for 8 days.
