I remember Tim training at home as the 89 season approached. I went over to see what was going on I asked him what was going on he said he was getting ready for training camp i will never forget the look in his eyes, the intensity.... he was in a zone the activity was so intense. the intensity was surreal i slowly back out of there as if i was walking on egg shells.

Chris,

Only 1 AFC Championship - yes, but that was a Super Bowl caliber team. I would take that defense over 99% of the defenses in the history of the league. Perhaps, the fault was with the coaching in critical games, and not the team. I like Marty and all, but there has to be a reason he was fired after a 14-2 season. The guy goes into a shell come playoff time.

YOU WANT THE SCHOTTENHIEMER ERA BACK! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU.

If memory serves the only thing we fans ever got out of that was 1 AFC championship game, which the Chiefs lost. Oh. We also got Bam Morris and Tameric Vanover (Sic.) Yes I want a strong team just like Josh does. But if it only does as well as the Martyball Chiefs, let's fire everyone and start over.
