1. Tony Gonzales, best TE in NFL history.
2. Dwayne Bowe, finally the Chiefs have a top-notch receiver.
3. Donnie Edwards, I liked him before he left and I like him now.
4. Tamba Hali, now the best pass rusher on the team.
5. Dustin Colquitt, by default.

My current fave five include:
1. Tony G
2. LJ
3. DBowe
4. DJ
5. Dorsey

My all-time list would include:
1. Derrick Thomas
2. Tony G
3. Nigerian Nightmare (he was so fun to watch run over people)
4. Priest
5. LJ

Carl Peterson barely missed the cut on both lists.

Why not Marcus Allen? He didn't play here as long, but he purposely retired as a Chief instead of a Fader. If he considers himself a Chief, so do I.

willie roaf is the best player we've had in years the top 5 of the last 10 years is

1. willie roaf (don't forget he is a hall of fame left tackle)

2. derrick thomas ( not a long enough career to guarantee but in our heats it is)

3. will shields (part of the hall of fame best side in football for years)

4. priest holmes (Enjoyed watching him break the touchdown record while a chief)

5. Neil Smith (chiefs most celebrated pass rusher)

No Marcus Allen he was a raider in which I will never consider a chief

5. neil smith

1. DJ - Seems to get better every year. He's a cornerstone of the D and will be for quite a while.

2. Donnie - He stood out on the field this year more than anything else as a SURE TACKLER. Way better than anyone from the previous year. Plus, I think DJ's play has improved because of him.

3. Gonzo - Always a sure thing. I can't believe he is still so good. He just never gives up - the first tackler hardly ever brings him down immediately.

4. LJ - Despite the bitchy attitude, he can tear up the field. He had HUGE shoes to fill when Preist first went down and he really stepped up. I hope he does again.

5. Bowe - Really the first potentially great Chiefs receiver in years. Very good production for a rookie and finally some weight off of Tony.

Honerable mentions:

6. Croyle - I think he will prove everyone wrong. Besides, he's OURS! Not the usual cast-off from another team. He's actually a Chief! What a great thing to see. Hope he pans out.

7. Naps (Napoleon Harris) - I like him. I think his main problem last season was the lack of run-stop by the DT's. He's better than people give him credit for.

8. Dorsey/Tank - If Dorsey is the man everyone says he is, we have it made. I expect Tank to make big strides this year. No bust on that one.

9. Our future returner - whoever that is (probably KR) may be the most massive upgrade of the year over the reeking pile of waste that is Eddie Drummond.

10. Flowers - sure he's a rookie, but he'll blow Law out of the water. Huge improvement here.

11. Any offensive linemen that step up - I will kiss the ground when we can finally run 4-5+ yards on a down and have more than 1.5 seconds before impending sack.

12. A decent kicker - it was bad enough that we had to worry about Tynes shanking extra points. Then we had last year. And we won't even talk about that one guy without a name. Somebody please!

And my all-time favorite pickup of the year:

**Chan Gailey**

I know, he's not a player, but now I won't have to try and hold back the bile in my throat after every offensive series.

too me it doesent matter whos in the fab 5 or w..e you want to caalll i t but if i had too make one this is what it would be

1-colquitt
2-arrowhead
3-kc wolf
4-tony
5-the bench for giving us the most useless of players and staring them(im speaking about the past years starting with herm....there hasent been nfl quality starters in kc maybe we will have to reach out in the free agency if we want to win now but if we relie on the drafts we could have a doozy of busts compared to hall of famer's ..my opinion feel free to disagree

@Mike, yes, he could have caught a few more balls.. But seriously, are you going to put that much pressure on a rookie who already had a badass season (especially considering it was in our offense) and who was injured to boot? Look at TO, how many passes has he dropped in the last two years? Quite a few my friend, quite a few. And they had basically the whole second half to get him that one 5-yard reception he needed for 1K yards. Instead they went over and over again to Jeff Webb. I don't mind that, IF we didn't have a player on the brink like that. If Tony G was sitting at 995 yards, we'd damn sure get him the ball, if we had to throw 4 picks doing it. That's all I'm saying..
