Yeah guys. I think we took a HUGE step forward in our Re-Building process because of this draft. I think we did better than Bill, Herm, and Carl THOUGHT we would. Rounds 1-4 were just phenominal. I was so excited... We're gonna make a little noise. Sure, we'll have some rookie mistakes. Who doesnt? But within the next few years, we're gonna be all up in the playoff mix. No doubt. Ya'digg?

I compare these two to John Alt and Bill Maas. That was another two first round pick draft for us. Nice players, for those who remember back then.

Those two are going to be fixtures. Thats the next Willie Roaf and Derrick Thomas.

I really wanted Albert and so did the Eagles. They tried to trade up with Arizona, but the Cards were scared of other teams possibly getting DRC. Once Albert was gone the Iggles bailed on this years draft, and got a first for next year.

The Chiefs really cleaned up this draft. They were able to really set themselves up nicely for the future.

These two players will help tremendously. I cannot wait for the hitting to begin!

We will keep thing interesting. We still have mini-camps, undrafted rookies trying to make the squad, June 1st cuts, and if who is going to start where for the Chiefs.

But you are right that its not exactly the busy part of the season... Oh and one other thing Carl negotiating contracts with rookies, that always seems interesting :(

it kinda sucks that theres nothing interesting going on now that the draft is over.....
