No prime time game….that sucks but is expected with our record last year. I was hoping week one would be at Arrowhead, especially since the Chiefs were on the road the first 2 weeks and last 2 weeks last year. This year we open and close on the road again. Carl must have pissed off one of the schedule makers.
On a side note all you Matt Ryan haters will not like this: http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=09000d5d807c2798&template=with-video&confirm=true
April 15th, 2008 at 12:54 pmSchedule isnt too bad
Love that first game. haha
April 15th, 2008 at 1:09 pmwell at least we could start out 4-1 pretty easily
April 15th, 2008 at 1:12 pmbut it may all go downhill from there
April 15th, 2008 at 1:13 pmlooks like another top 10 pick next year
April 15th, 2008 at 1:38 pmThe biggest thing about the schedule is that we don’t go on the road for three or more games in a row and we only have one back-to-back road game. That is outstanding for anyone to get that. Most teams have at least two back-to-back road games.
April 15th, 2008 at 1:42 pmBut that back to back road streak is against 2 division rivals.
April 15th, 2008 at 2:00 pmWe could get lucky…I can see the Chiefs winning some of those games, but I don’t see Croyle winning any of them either. BC gets no easy start with our first home games being Division games and that end stretch of road Division games will not be kind, but at least the weather will be nice in Cali. Our NFC draw was pretty weak. We can take ATL easily, and Carolina on a good day. Test our D against the Saints at home? A game against Miami for our D to pop Boomer in the mouth? Might be funny… my guess is 2-3 by the bye week, finish 5-12…I could see us dropping 5 straight after the bye.
April 15th, 2008 at 2:09 pmyea this no prime time is bullshit i understand we were 4-12 last year but the year before we were in the playoffs and didnt get shit last year except a rescheduled jets game this pisses me off so much
April 15th, 2008 at 2:37 pmPretty easy schedule really.
April 15th, 2008 at 2:51 pmI like the schedule. Its about mediocre. I say 8-8, believe it or not! Really!
April 15th, 2008 at 3:30 pmWe could have a Big 12 schedule and I wouldn’t like it with the offseason we’ve had so far. We’ll be lucky to win six games. You heard it here first! Zach, Crane, myself, the whole A.A. clan is bracing for a tough year. You should, too. It will be less depressing when it hits that way.
April 15th, 2008 at 3:35 pmwell the raiders were 4-12 and they have a night game
whats up with that?
even though they did get new players they’re still the gayest team in the world!
April 15th, 2008 at 3:38 pmWE CAN SERIOUSLY WIN 8 OF THESE GAMES!!!!!!!!!!
April 15th, 2008 at 4:10 pmI meant 5-11…my bad.
April 15th, 2008 at 4:51 pmThe Raiders play in a bigger market and are sexier to a National audience than the Chiefs. Plus, they have JaMarcus Russell. Next year Matty Ice will get us on TV.
April 15th, 2008 at 8:38 pmwe are going to the playoffs 10-6 cant wait to get back to arrowhead after last years loss to the broncos GO CHIEFS who cares about prime time games i like hearing Mitch Holthus on my radio every sunday at 1 anyway
April 15th, 2008 at 9:26 pm10-6? I love the optimism but also would love to hear your rationale…
April 15th, 2008 at 10:18 pm10-6? What is that, the score of the Raiders-Chiefs game? No way in hell that happens. Don’t do that to yourself, man. Setting yourself up for major heartbreak. I love the Chiefs as much as anyone, but they don’t have the horses to make a run in ‘08.
April 15th, 2008 at 11:06 pm11-5!!!! You just wait!!!
April 16th, 2008 at 10:03 amWow. I’m an optimistic person…but you guys are insane.
