Kansas City Chiefs 2008 Schedule

The Chiefs for the second straight year will not have a prime-time game. I am really getting tired of the NFL not giving the best fans in the NFL a Thursday, Sunday or Monday Night game, but I guess that happens when you’re 4-12.

    No prime time game….that sucks but is expected with our record last year. I was hoping week one would be at Arrowhead, especially since the Chiefs were on the road the first 2 weeks and last 2 weeks last year. This year we open and close on the road again. Carl must have pissed off one of the schedule makers.

    The biggest thing about the schedule is that we don’t go on the road for three or more games in a row and we only have one back-to-back road game. That is outstanding for anyone to get that. Most teams have at least two back-to-back road games.

    But that back to back road streak is against 2 division rivals.

    We could get lucky…I can see the Chiefs winning some of those games, but I don’t see Croyle winning any of them either. BC gets no easy start with our first home games being Division games and that end stretch of road Division games will not be kind, but at least the weather will be nice in Cali. Our NFC draw was pretty weak. We can take ATL easily, and Carolina on a good day. Test our D against the Saints at home? A game against Miami for our D to pop Boomer in the mouth? Might be funny… my guess is 2-3 by the bye week, finish 5-12…I could see us dropping 5 straight after the bye.

    yea this no prime time is bullshit i understand we were 4-12 last year but the year before we were in the playoffs and didnt get shit last year except a rescheduled jets game this pisses me off so much

    We could have a Big 12 schedule and I wouldn’t like it with the offseason we’ve had so far. We’ll be lucky to win six games. You heard it here first! Zach, Crane, myself, the whole A.A. clan is bracing for a tough year. You should, too. It will be less depressing when it hits that way.

    The Raiders play in a bigger market and are sexier to a National audience than the Chiefs. Plus, they have JaMarcus Russell. Next year Matty Ice will get us on TV. :)

    we are going to the playoffs 10-6 cant wait to get back to arrowhead after last years loss to the broncos GO CHIEFS who cares about prime time games i like hearing Mitch Holthus on my radio every sunday at 1 anyway

    10-6? What is that, the score of the Raiders-Chiefs game? No way in hell that happens. Don’t do that to yourself, man. Setting yourself up for major heartbreak. I love the Chiefs as much as anyone, but they don’t have the horses to make a run in ‘08.
