Congrats To Ian Brennan, A.A.'s NCAA Bracket Champ!

Ian Brennan just did a masterful job filling out his 2008 NCAA Tournament bracket, and he gets rewarded with the first ever A.A. NCAA Tourney Bracket Championship for his effort. Not only did he pick the champ (Kansas–yuck!), three of the four Final Four teams, Davidson over Georgetown and Duke exiting early, he made very few mistakes. The next best competitor was 70 points behind. Congrats, Ian, this year you gave fellow Chiefs fans a bracketology clinic.

As you can see, I had my worst year ever–completely tanked. I guess that’s what I get for both bragging about being good at this crapshoot and getting ballsy and going Tennessee-Texas in a year where four No. 1s finally made the Final Four (hey, I knew all you Beakers fans had KU penciled in as champs). Never happened before, so I never fill my bracket out that way. Zach and Crane represented a little better for sure.

Adam,

Ah well...that's always the way. Four 1 seeds making the Final Four may never have happened before but that's the case with everything until the time it first happens. Honestly, it's got to be some kind of weird statistical anomaly on a par with DiMaggio's 56 game hit streak that it hasn't ever happened until this year. In any case, I'm just happy that my team finally won...20 years is a long wait.

As for the K-Staters and their jerseys, guess that's their way of getting over the probable losses of Walker and Beasley after this year. Petty, unhappy, and usually on the losing side...that's Wildcat pride for you :)

Yah I am still not too happy that my girlfriend beat me.

Thanks Adam......you all did pretty good....it was fun

Wow I did better than I thought. I really tied for 5th since Alonzo filled out 8 brackets. Guess that means I'll have to write the bball articles now. IN all seriousness, I was in Lawrence Saturday and Monday night and it was INSANE. Congrats to KU. Great season. Also, FYI, my spies in Manhattan told me there were Memphis jerseys everywhere in Aggieville Saturday. Just goes to show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.
