Hall No…Again
Looks like DeAngelo Hall will actually be joining the Raiders. Oh, well…I hope he busts now that the Crypt Keeper has spent an obscene fortune on him. From Pro Football Talk:
Steve Wyche of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that the much-anticipated Falcons-Raiders trade for cornerback DeAngelo Hall is essentially done.
The teams had already agreed that Atlanta would receive Oakland’s second- and sixth-round picks in the NFL draft, but the holdup had been whether the Raiders and Hall could reach an agreement on a long-term contract extension. Hall tells Wyche that the deal will get done.
“There is just some tweaking of the language that needs to be done, some minor details,” Hall said of contract negotiations. “No deal breakers.”
Hall said he is planning to fly to Oakland tomorrow to sign the contract. No details of the contract have been released, but it appears that the Raiders have given in to Hall’s financial demands, which other teams had balked at.
Sorry, Chiefs fans. I guess Justin Hartwig and Max Starks are still out there.

The only people "really out there" are the Chiefs! lol.
March 18th, 2008 at 2:37 pmI have tried to be supportive and agree with most of what the Chiefs have done this off season, but this just makes me sick. I’m telling you the chance to get one of the top corners in the league for a second round pick and you do nothing? You let him go to Oakland? Bryant from Arizona has averaged 40 catches a year there, but instead you sign a guy who in that same amout of time has only come up with 20 TOTAL! I mean you haven’t even signed Hartwig yet…Herm must be hiding something from us over there at Arrowhead, either that or Al Davis is using his salary cap on you to screw up this wonderful franchise.
