Adam, how is this for an irony. DeAngelo Hall has refuted reports that he is definitely headed to Oakland. Do you think it would be possible for the Chiefs to send Greg Wesley and a late round pick to Atlanta for Hall? Or do you think that is "too high of a price in the Chiefs eyes"?

Adam, totally agree with you about Jared. Until he proves with out a shadow of a doubt that he can not get another DUI, then he needs the franchise tag nailed on him unitl he does. Great player but needs to just shut up and play. I agree that the players need to watch themselves, but I am an avid believer that if LJ plays through training camp and the preseason, then we see a different side to him during the regular season. The money situation always works out AND he had a year left on his current deal. You say he needs to protect himself, but do you honestly beleive he helped himself and the team by holding out? He was not ready for the season to begin because he did not work out with the team. BTW, don't you find it the least bit ironic that as soon as Priest announced his intentions to come back, LJ suddently finds what the Chiefs were offering him to be good enough for him to sign? Again let me reiterate, I like LJ except for the way he did business last year. He is going to break some more records before he is done.

Race has nothing to do with it either. I'm sure most would rather pay Priest in his prime than LJ in his prime. It's all about personality, and for whatever reason LJ just rubs fans the wrong way. Not sure why, but thats the way it is. Regardless. He's good, he's one of the best backs we could hope to have, and as long as he is a chief, I'm on the LJ train.
