Keyaron Fox Signs With The Steelers
The Steelers had a workout yesterday with Keyaron Fox and today they decided to sign him to a one-year deal. The terms of the contract have not been released, but I bet it is in the ballpark of $1-2 million. Keyaron was a good special teams player and back-up linebacker, but never became the starter that many Chiefs fans hoped he would become after being selected in the third round. The Steelers will get a quality back-up in Fox, but I was surprised he took only a one-year deal.
The Steelers added depth to their linebacker and special teams corps today as they signed free agent linebacker Keyaron Fox to a one-year contract. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

March 12th, 2008 at 2:26 pmI bet you he turns out to be good.
March 12th, 2008 at 2:31 pmIf he was going to turn out to be good, he would have done it already. He had extensive playing time last year when Donnie went out and I saw nothing. Welcome Demorrio Williams!!!!!
March 12th, 2008 at 3:13 pmHe might be OK for them, but they run the 3-4 so they have an extra spot. He was never going to beat out any of our top four for one of the top three spots.
March 12th, 2008 at 3:16 pmHe just could not step up. But, if they want him for a bench player and special teams player, he can help them.
March 12th, 2008 at 8:41 pmwell we have let guys go before and they have done pretty good for themselves. I think with more experience he would have been decent, and ithink that’s what he’ll get in pitt. he wasn’t too bad when he did play for us. even d. johnson whiffed on plays and went missing at times last year. collectively, it wasn’t a great year.
March 13th, 2008 at 9:47 amI saw yesterday that they got him for like $600,000.
