Jimmy Wilkerson Signs With Bucs

by Breaking News

AA FA UpdateThe Pewter Report is reporting that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed DE Jimmy Wilkerson.

PewterReport.com is reporting that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed defensive end Jimmy Wilkerson to a 2-year deal, according to his agent, Joby Branion.

The contract details for Wilkerson’s new deal have not been released. I wish Jimmy all the luck in the world and think he did a great job for the Chiefs for his role. He was a great role player that understood his job. I was actually hoping that the Chiefs would resign Wilkerson, but maybe this will be the best for both teams. The Buccaneers now have two of our former defensive lineman–Simms and Wilkerson. Good luck with that, Tampa!

It's not a big deal, but I would have liked to keep him.

haha!  Good one Zach!  Jimmy was a decent spot player for us, not the worst news in the world.
