Off-Topic: KSU's Beasley Might Not Go Pro

First off, this is the first time that our beloved K-State basketball team has made the front of ESPN.com since Bob Huggins left or the Pervis Pasco incident. Naturally, I had to include a screenshot…

Made in Manhattan (ESPN)

The big news is that Michael Beasley says in this article that he might not be ready to go pro, ready for the NBA, the big lights and responsibility:

The very definition of a man-child, Beasley is on the precipice of fame, fortune and adulthood. Yet he is terrified of making the leap.

“I honestly feel like I don’t belong sometimes,” Beasley said. “I’m just a regular guy, little ol’ me, but then I’m not. When I leave here, it will be even worse. This is the last stage of fun, sort of. After this it’s all business and I’m not sure I’m ready for that.”

I’m crossing my fingers, while Beaker and Tiger fans are crossing theirs as well for a distinctly different reason. Beakers, we’ll see you tomorrow night, baby.

We'll take the Pepsi Challenge with our images, too. And our commenters. We have the best Chiefs fans participating here out of anywhere on the Net. Well, besides you.

cor88b, that's because we are NOT a news site, buddy. This is also not any of our primary jobs. This is an op-ed sportsblog. As far as my writing goes and my columns, I'll put my shit up for the Pepsi Challenge with any other Chiefs writer out there.

Seriously, if you keep talking smack, then we are going to have our first ever commenter execution here on AA.

Thank you and goodnight, Junior.

i said MOST.  thats just because half of the stuff is alot later than everyone elses.

Thanks for the compliment Nate!cor88b, go get a life or a blog because I would love to see the material you write.

He could go pro, probably will. But Tim Duncan stayed four years, Chris Webber two...staying wouldn't be unprecedented, especially if he thinks they can be a Final Four team, which I do. Hill and Walker convinced him to come to KSU, which was unlikely. Maybe they'll convince him to stay. Walker will be back for sure.

LOL, he will go pro; nothing to gain by staying, hes already the top pick.

Well, cor88b, there are a lot of blogs out there--I suggest you go and find another one. And if you are going to call me a retard, at least check your grammar :)

Nate, thanks for the props and go Cats!

wow, you're a k-state fan.  that explains why most of the posts in your blog are brilliant
