February 29th, 2008 at 4:39 amand we could bring back on of our good ol boys ryan lilja from right here in k c! 26 !!!
February 29th, 2008 at 4:42 amLilja got re-signed by the colts a couple weeks ago – otherwise I would hope we’d going for him.
February 29th, 2008 at 5:09 amohh looks like im a bit out of date ! dang these sites just cant keep up with whos in or out either ! the site i was on said hes still a fa! my bad bro ! anyway the other 3 looked solid to me !
February 29th, 2008 at 5:23 amtony g on mike and mike in the morning this morning !
February 29th, 2008 at 5:26 amYay, Vilma to Saints. First good news I’ve heard.
February 29th, 2008 at 8:16 amHey Cornelius – how about I step on your heart when your favorite FA gets signed
February 29th, 2008 at 9:31 amWow, I didn’t know Vilma had that big of a fan. Good player, but damn. I think Cornelius is like me–didn’t want to see us overpay on a linebacker when we have three. But he is a pretty damn good player.
February 29th, 2008 at 11:02 amLorenzo Neal got cut today by SD. I wonder if he’s gonna retire bc we could sure use a FB.
February 29th, 2008 at 11:08 amI think Neal would atleast be worth a look. He would be a big help with this type of offense unless Gailey will open it up more but I still think there will be a lot of power formations.
February 29th, 2008 at 11:29 amNeal is too old considering what we’ve said (young, second contract). I see us using one of our ten picks to draft a FB.
February 29th, 2008 at 11:33 amWith the release of 4 veterans the other day, the Chiefs had me thinking big things. It looked like we were clearing room to make a run at one or more guys. I’m not saying we aren’t, and it’s still really early. My hopes/dreams would be to put in an offer for Stallworth, and really take a look at this Lito + picks for Allen thing. Lito would obviously want a new contract, so you have to set aside money for him too. These two scenario’s alone would make me a happy dude.
February 29th, 2008 at 1:32 pmI would have liked to get Vilma, just because N Harris has so much trouble going east to west, and is possibly the worst part of our run defense. Hell, the middle looked much more stable with K. Mitchell, mabye even maslowski. LOL LOL. It’s like we replace bad people with worse, and wonder why we suck. I know Harris led the team in tackles but he still managed to look like crap the entire season, especially on clutch plays. The guy was pretty much on vacation in the Jags game.
February 29th, 2008 at 1:41 pmTravis Laboy. If the Chiefs do go through with a trade with Allen, they should sign this guy.
February 29th, 2008 at 1:44 pmRex Hadnot visiting the Texans today…
http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/7852370
February 29th, 2008 at 1:48 pmOf the only two guys I’ve heard the Chiefs are having in, only one of them even makes sense. Josh Brown would be a strong signing that I’d be fine with. But bringing in another LB, considering all our other needs, most of which are deeper positions in Free Agency this year, just seems a waste of time. If anything this would be more of a luxury pick, when we can’t afford any right now. Every minute you waste with this dude, 5 others sign elsewhere.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:00 pmLarry, three guys are coming in–Brown, Jacques Reeves and Williams.
Update on Brown. Matt Mosley thinks that our snapper J.P|. Darche could help us bring him in:
http://myespn.go.com/blogs/hashmarks/0-5-615/Wilkins–retirement-provides-another-option.html
February 29th, 2008 at 2:07 pmwe need to get brown signed while hes in town ! if he leaves and goes to rams were out! they will pay him well now !
February 29th, 2008 at 2:08 pmHere’s a little prediction for next year. I see Carl Peterson retiring and Herm Taking over as GM/Coach or Just GM.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:11 pmCSF69–he’s going to STL first.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:19 pmThe Tuna just signed Earnest Wilford. I wish King Carl took note–the Tuna isn’t wasting any time. I wish our ownership and front office respected its die-hard fans like the Dolphins do. Damn.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:20 pmwow well be lucky to even see brown then ! wilkins retired so there going to hit him hard i sure !
February 29th, 2008 at 2:26 pmC’mon Adam…. We have to pace ourselves in free agency. We can’t let $25M burn a hole in our pockets. There are far more pressing needs like Trying to find a steal from someone elses Practice Squad. Or the next Stud from NFL Erurope. Of couse you know i am joking right.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:26 pmIf the chiefs don’t do something big in FA then i say we start a petition to have Carl Fired. I would love to be the first to sign it.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:28 pmHow many more years does the King have left, 1 or 2?
February 29th, 2008 at 2:41 pmThis is such bullsh*t. I Know its barely day 1 of FA. But we are 1 of about 5 teams over 20 million in salary cap and all the hooplah and big news we’ve managed to see from our shot callers is on a freakin kicker???!!! and THATS NOT EVER for sure… Im getting frustrated
February 29th, 2008 at 2:45 pm(correction) and thats not EVEN for sure.
February 29th, 2008 at 2:47 pmWhats Up with Lito? Ive been hearing different things? Does anyone know?
February 29th, 2008 at 2:49 pmWe probably won’t know on that for a little while. As we all know, we move very slowly when it comes to trades and contracts. I wish we could blame past mistakes on rushing into things, but we really can’t.
February 29th, 2008 at 3:03 pmlast i knew was if the eagles got samuel[and they did!] they were going to offer us there first and 4th picks and lito for jared allen ! so well just have to wait and see if its going to go through !!!
February 29th, 2008 at 3:04 pmis there a max amount of picks you can hold during the draft ? i know we have 10 already ! 2 more in a trade will be 12 ! whats the max if any ?
February 29th, 2008 at 3:07 pmHeh, the Vilma thing was really just because the Saints are my favorite team behind the Chiefs. They’ve needed a pass rushing LB for a while. I didn’t expect the Chiefs to make a serious run at him.
February 29th, 2008 at 3:27 pmHey, csf69. . . Im not trying to be a jerk, but where’ve you been? Cause a lot of the things you’ve been talking about or asking have been adressed here the past couple weeks.
February 29th, 2008 at 3:28 pmohh i just found this site ! been surfing trying to find out the latest news is all ! my bad if im asking old questions ! i just thought each team could only have 10 picks !
February 29th, 2008 at 3:34 pmCSF69
February 29th, 2008 at 3:37 pmThere is no max on amount of picks. Concept of “10 picks max” comes from Madden not from real world.
just thought this was a chiefs site for chief fans so i thought id ask a few questions ! ive been online trying to see what the chiefs are doing in free agency and so far it isnt much ! dont know if i can suffer through another season like last year ! i have a raider buddy and a bronco buddy and last year i was about to blow a fuse !
February 29th, 2008 at 3:39 pmWell we supposedly have LB Demario Williams, K Josh Brown, and CB Jacques Reeves are suppose to be visiting this weekend.
I was just about to type that Brown will probably be the most likely because he is from Oklahoma and his former long snapper is in KC, but I completely changed my mind.
I think he will actually go to the Rams now since Wilkins retired. Since Brown could kick in a dome and finish out a successful career without dealing with the elements. I think we might lose out on him.
February 29th, 2008 at 3:48 pmOh. Ok. Cool! Well, Welcome csf69! This Is the REAL Chiefs Fan Site. You’ll totally know whatsup now. and I Know what you mean. I have family and friends from the worst team sects (Dallas, Oakland, San Diego, and Denver. . . YUCK!)
February 29th, 2008 at 3:48 pmCFS69 – Welcome aboard. You have arrived into a realm where is not okay to have a “Raider buddy” or a “Bronco buddy.” In order to continue remaining here unharmed, I’m afraid you must choose – will it be us and the Chiefs or the “buddies?”
February 29th, 2008 at 3:50 pmWow, we have some haters out there today! Thank God it is just George Bush….
February 29th, 2008 at 3:50 pmI agree with Double D. If you have Raider or Bronco friends, GET RID OF THEM!
I think most Chiefs fans have at least one of each. Its kind of like the crazy uncle and bitch of an aunt.
February 29th, 2008 at 3:52 pmSorry to be late to the party, has anyone heard anything about the possible trade with Philly? Did hear that we are at least showing that we are interested in Stallworth. Anything else going on?
February 29th, 2008 at 3:52 pmbanny, would that be a trade for Lito Sheppard?
February 29th, 2008 at 3:52 pmHey “George” Youre outta office later this year. So do the same with this site but leave NOW, bro.
February 29th, 2008 at 3:53 pmand yet to see any o lineman come through kc !! a lb we dont really need and #3 cb at best ! wow all our hope was on a kicker that probibly wont even make it to see k c !! nice job carl and herm !! you all suck !!
February 29th, 2008 at 3:54 pmCouple misc. notes from what I’ve read (I assume we want to try and keep this in the open thread and not the individual newsposts. Williamson-Not sure, could be a solid no.2 receiver. He underachieved as (I believe) a first-rounder, but keep in mind who’s been throwing to him, Tavaris "I don’t need to plant my feet when I pass" Jackson. Jacques Reeves- Also difficult to get a handle on his actual ability, playing opposite Terrence Newman has granted Reeves the title of "Most Targeted Cornerback" in the league.
February 29th, 2008 at 3:56 pmZach, yes. Sounds like Samuels is going to sign there. They can’t pay Sheppard that kind of money as well. Like I said last, I love Allen but that would love this trade.
February 29th, 2008 at 3:57 pmGo Fly a kite or something, dude.
February 29th, 2008 at 3:57 pmIn addition to the Saints and Rams, the Giants have shown interest in free agent QB Trent Green. what are these guys thinking ???
February 29th, 2008 at 3:58 pmCurrently, I am not excited about what we are doing, but it is still early. I am not exactly sure why we feel that a LB is most important to look at, but I think OL would be at the top of the list.
DAMNIT REDBEARD, where are you when FA opens and Carl hasn’t brought OL in. This is your time to take it to Carl. Clark and him are starting to get me a little upset.
February 29th, 2008 at 4:00 pmEagles signed Asante Samuel to a six-year contract.
February 29th, 2008 at 4:02 pmSo far… Im pretty disappointed. Pursuing an un-needed LB, an underachieving WR, a K that will probably sign somewhere else, and a recycled CB. (?) …
February 29th, 2008 at 4:07 pmbanny, I dont think I like the trade for Lito. Lito is a good and young corner, but trading Jared Allen would cost a lot in my book.
February 29th, 2008 at 4:07 pmROC, I hear ya!
February 29th, 2008 at 4:09 pmJust saw our name being attached to Randall Gay from New England, whoop-a-dee-doo!!!
February 29th, 2008 at 4:09 pmFA UPDATE:
Randall Gay, so I’ll just tell you that he’s visiting the Saints on Saturday and the Buccaneers on Monday.
February 29th, 2008 at 4:10 pmSt. Louis needs a backup QB. They let go of Good Ol’ Gus… Some are saying that Trent will a sleeper… I say Hell Yeah he’ll be a sleeper. . . yeah. When He’s ASLEEP on the field with his 50th concussion. . . retard.
February 29th, 2008 at 4:12 pmwell for what its all worth allen will not be a chief next year ! he already said if we tag him hes done here ! so no w is the time to get all we can out of him ! i thank hes a stud and should have kept him but thank carl for that !
February 29th, 2008 at 4:12 pmMeanwhile, Charles Robinson of Yahoo! Sports is reporting that Gay is also drawing interest from Atlanta, Seattle, Detroit and Kansas City, and that it’s also still possible that he’ll stay in New England.
February 29th, 2008 at 4:13 pmAt 1st It was tragic to see him carried off the field on a streatcher. . . but now its kinda becoming comical… lets see what uniform he’ll be wearing NEXT time he gets his head knocked off.
February 29th, 2008 at 4:16 pmwell being upset at lack of action from kc so far in fa has got me ready to drain some beers you still made me laugh roc27 ! thats 2 funny !
February 29th, 2008 at 4:16 pmFA UPDATE:
Isaac Bruce going to visit San Fran. Mike Martz and Bruceback together?
Michael Turner is considering a offer fromt he Falcons.
February 29th, 2008 at 4:19 pmcsf69, I believe what Allen Also said was that he needs to be re-signed to a long term deal. Sure, We put the tag on him cause we HAD to, the deadline… We didnt wanna put him on the block so, this gives us more time to work on the deal.
February 29th, 2008 at 4:20 pmGuys. Wake me up when we start talking Starks, Stallworth, Hall, and LEGIT Lito news.
February 29th, 2008 at 4:30 pmright you are ! still the trade makes sence we can still get gholston with our first pick ! and have another pick in 1st round!
February 29th, 2008 at 4:30 pmDitto Roc27, Lets talk about real news, and not some unverified report about Lito Shepard/Allen Trade. I have searched the web for any info on this and it doesn’t exist, [yet anyway]. I would just like to add that the Tuna just signed Wilford, my heart is broken. If the Tuna liked him, you bet your bottom dollar he is a solid player!
February 29th, 2008 at 5:38 pmIt exists, straight out of Philly radio, but it is only like I always said it was–a rumor!
February 29th, 2008 at 5:54 pmFA Update:
No news on Max Starks, Maurice Williams or Bryant Johnson. Stay tuned…
February 29th, 2008 at 5:55 pmWhere is Redbeard… duh, duh, duh, duh, duh…
We want REDBEARD… duh, duh, duh, duh, duh…
February 29th, 2008 at 5:57 pmAdam, thanks for keeping this the main post – I could only check a couple of times today and when I did check in the info was all over the place
February 29th, 2008 at 6:12 pmAnyone know about Jacob Bell, Guard from the Titans. I think he is unrestricted. Any good? Maurice Williams (OT/G) is still out there.
February 29th, 2008 at 6:13 pmI would just like to add this. It does not seem like we are interested in signing Boomer Grigsby, even if we do, is he going to make the team? Boomer is Jared Allen’s good/best friend. How is Allen going to feel if he is cut or not signed at all? What is Jared’s attitude going to be like then, with Boomer gone? Just a thought.
February 29th, 2008 at 6:16 pmThe Eagles will use Asante Samuel at left cornerback, Lito Sheppard’s old position. They could look to trade Sheppard or possibly move Sheldon Brown to free safety now. Samuel has been far more durable and now makes much more money than Sheppard. Shopping Lito seems to be the most likely scenario.Source: Boston Globe
February 29th, 2008 at 6:24 pmSounds like the Eagles really are shopping Lito. Man Adam, you are on it. If this is true, I owe you an apolgy.
February 29th, 2008 at 6:30 pmI wouldn’t look for the Chiefs to pursue a trade for Lito Sheppard, whether it included JA or not. The Tamp 2 doesn’t put a premium on cb’s. Lito will be waaaaay to expensive for CP and the Herminator. I believe, in this system, premium is paid for the front 4 on D. That’s why I can’t understand why JA and the Chiefs can’t come to an agreement. Indy seemed to understand the concept.
February 29th, 2008 at 6:32 pmwow the chiefs have done nothing yet typical let all the good players go and sign the leftovers ughhh!!!!!!!11
February 29th, 2008 at 6:32 pmSteven, I think you are talking about the Tampa 2 years back. The rules now favor receivers, and you have to have quality corners now. Herm brought in Ty Law, too, and he was more expensive than Lito would be.
Also, Jared was offended by the Chiefs last offseason and dislikes Carl. Simple as that. Plus, he wants to get paid like a premier DE.
February 29th, 2008 at 6:41 pmFA Update:
Bryant Johnson is expected to visit the Bears next week.
Josh Brown will not be a Seahawk next year.
KFFL
February 29th, 2008 at 6:43 pmwhere the hell are we right now are there ne sheduled visits with the chiefs???
February 29th, 2008 at 6:46 pmwow running our of decent wr out there ! they better get going on johnson before bears get him . he would be great fit in kc didnt ever bitch about being 3rd wr no static hard worker ! what else they looking at !
February 29th, 2008 at 7:01 pmWe may go another direction, I’m not sure. Remember, Carter, Hackett, Stallworth, Devery Henderson…lots of guys left. He coudl still visit, too. Hell, he could be here tomorrow. That’s the nature of the game. We probably are focusing on Brown and Williams today, and then will move on at the end of the night depending on what happens. I expect us to sign one player before midnight. That’s my prediction.
February 29th, 2008 at 7:14 pmI know I am going to be hated here, but I think the Chiefs are making the right moves. We need to build the team through the draft. We are not going to be a contender for a Super Bowl next year anyway so why spend a whole lot of money on free agents when we could save that money for players we draft this year and the next and the next. I would love for this rumor about Allen-Sheppard trade to be true. We could use some more draft picks.
February 29th, 2008 at 7:15 pmI would like to get a 1st, 3rd, and Sheppard, but that may be asking for a little too much. With this we fill a lot of needs. I would also like to trade our number 5 pick to Dallas for their two firsts, 2nd, and 3rd. We could get an OT (probably Otah or Williams) at 19, Brandon Albert at 22, and maybe a wide receiver or defensive end at 28. I know that is stretch, but that is what I am hoping for.
February 29th, 2008 at 7:15 pmIt would be a stretch to get 3 first round picks. That is a lot of guarenteed money to give up.
February 29th, 2008 at 7:29 pmFrom ProFootballTalk.comWith cornerback Asante
February 29th, 2008 at 8:08 pmSamuel in the fold, the Eagles are now going to attempt to trade
cornerback Lito Sheppard, according to Adam Schefter of NFL Network.
Calls are already coming
in for Sheppard, a first-round draft pick in 2002 who is still only 26
years old.
In recent weeks, there
were rumors that that Sheppard was on he block, and the team strongly
denied it. In hindsight, it’s likely that the Eagles didn’t want
to tip their hand regarding their plans to pursue Samuel.
Sheppard is under contract
for four more seasons, with base salaries of $2 million in 2008, $3
million in 2009, $3.7 million in 2010, and $4.25 million in 2011.Looks like there is at least a little truth to the rumor.
Banny, you and I did that at the same time I think… lol…

Pro Football Talk
February 29th, 2008 at 8:15 pmFA Update:
Pro Football Talk
February 29th, 2008 at 8:58 pmI don’t like Lito for Jared. At all. Is it me or is Brian Dawkins leadership what helps make Lito look real good too? I could see him floundering in KC. No self respecting corner wants to go AFC…too many good QB’s when you have Brett Farve-types slinging it around in the NFC. I vote NO on this trade/rumor.
February 29th, 2008 at 9:51 pmHey Clinton… I dont hate you… but I REALLY hate what you said. Thats the attitude we DONT need here at AA… What am I talking about? “we wont make the super bowl anyway.” Dude, c’mon bro! I Get that we should be realistic, but that horrible negativity for a fan to have. . . a CHIEF fan, let alone. . GO CHIEFS!
February 29th, 2008 at 10:35 pmHe did play in a good secondary with Sheldown Brown and B-Dawk, but I still think he’s one of the better corners. My preference would definitely be to keep Jared, but I could live with the deal.
February 29th, 2008 at 10:46 pmWe couldn’t turn down the Eagles 1st rounder+a young, quality CB. That deal is too good to be true (and probably isn’t true).
March 1st, 2008 at 12:32 amHey ROC27, I am sorry if you do not like my train of thought. I am not being negative. We have so many needs that we must get as many top draft picks as possible. This way we can build for a great team in the future and not a decent team for the next season. I don’t know what fantasy land you live in, but I am in the real world and can be realistic and still love the Chiefs and know what is best for them.
March 1st, 2008 at 7:36 amJA is a fan favorite, I don’t see the Chiefs moving him. Lito is a premier corner in this league, there is not doubt. I just think eventually the extra coin that would go into signing Lito to an extension IF they traded will go towards keeping JA here for the long haul. This is why I dislike Carl most of the time (not all the time). He tries to play these leverage game all the time with players. He needs to wake up and realize he has maybe the best DE in the league right now on the Chiefs, pay him what he is worth, quit trying to low-ball him and let’s move on-both the Chiefs and us, the fans.
March 1st, 2008 at 8:28 amOk, Clint… 1st of all. Im NOT living in this “fantasty land” you speak of… I ALSO know what this team needs in order to be successful. And at this point we need a lot to work on… Its cool to know that we both live in the real world, but yet we ARE different… I cant go into this (or ANY) season thinking “Whatever, we’re not making the playoffs or going to the Super Bowl this season.” So, what hope do you have? What? For a winning season years later? Gimme a break, man.
March 1st, 2008 at 12:10 pmI Hope you dont call yourself a ‘die hard’ Chiefs fan. . . cause quite frankly, thats not the way a TRUE fan thinks. . . . . . . maybe if youre part of The Raider Nation… But this isnt the Black Hole, bro. This Is The Red F*ckin Sea.
March 1st, 2008 at 12:14 pmNope I am a Raider Hater and a die hard Chiefs fan which is why I would love them to get the Super Bowl. I guess we are different. I am realize the Chiefs were not a great team last year and that we need a lot to fill the holes. It isn’t going to happen in one offseason. It probably isn’t going to happen in two offseasons, but at least we can hope that in 2 or 3 years we will have some young talent that learn to play together and more importantly learn to win together.
March 1st, 2008 at 1:56 pmRoc, I love the enthusiasm.. But you don’t have to think that to be a ‘true, die-hard’ fan. I’m mostly with Clinton, Herm and Co. have done a SUPERB job drafting the last couple years. Superb you ask? It was just ‘decent’. Compare it to what we’ve had since the year 2000, and those two drafts alone were spectacular. Herm’s also had good drafts in NY as Head Coach. Let the man do his work. While I agree, a couple key free agents here and there, can surely help, and would vastly improve the squad… *cough, OLINEMEN, cough cough* the fact of the matter is; that even if we went out and pulled what NE did last year, we probably aren’t going to the SuperBowl. Don’t get me wrong, I hope we do, and I HATED watching last season. And one day it’s my dream to go to a Super Bowl with the Chiefs in it, but next year? Doubtful. VERY doubtful. We have a lot of up-and-coming guys, and you never know what can happen. Look at the Packers. 13-3 and a nice playoff run, with the youngest team in the NFL. Look at the Patriots, 17-0 and same result. They went home at the end of the day. There are plusses and minuses to whichever side you choose. But look at our recent FA history. Donnie Edwards fit, because he was a former Chief. Kickers? Not so much. Napoleon Harris, decent fit for a Cover-2. Kendrell Bell? Money-sucker. For every hit, there’s a miss. For every good guy, there’s a guy who will sit on our bench, leech a few mil, and be content with where he’s at. Meanwhile, in the draft, we get those young hungry guys, who are for the most part, better athletes… And yes, there are those draft picks that don’t work out, but there’s a difference. The draftee’s don’t cost NEARLY the amount of money that FA’s usually do. (At least after the first day, anyway, haha) We can’t afford to have a JaMarcus Russel. But we need those young guys.
March 1st, 2008 at 2:47 pm16-0*. God, I really need to proof-read. Too many mistakes in there
March 1st, 2008 at 2:50 pmBreaking News, Oakland Raiders just signed Ian Gold to 2 year contract.
March 1st, 2008 at 2:56 pmJohn can you let us know who is reporting this?
March 1st, 2008 at 3:15 pmxxlp & Clinton… I get what you guys are saying. BUT I refuse to go into ANY season "KNOWING" that we wont go to the Super Bowl… Sure, maybe the chances are slim and against us. Fine. I can live with that… But Ive said it before and I’ll say it again…. This is a league where there is a THIN line between greatness and horrible… and that line can be crossed ANY season. Look at how close we came to winning in EACH (besides the 2nd Denver game) of our games… Youre telling me that that was SUPPOSED to happen?? Uh-Uh! I never said that Herm is doing a bad job at drafting. I think he’s doing great… but we need to do SO much more than draft well… Such as Free Agency (in which we are sucking air at right now… and in which I’m pissed about). I understand we have a nice grip of guys that we’re gonna draft and probably have to sign… and that we MAY need that salary cap for those guys ( Jared Allen & others)… BUT we’ve signed LB… Thats it? We didnt get Stallworth, Faneca, Vilma, Wilford, Brown… for crying out loud, we didnt even get Florence… and now Bryant Johnson is looking to visit Buffalo… It’s like, I get that Herm is going off the radar for guys… but really. C’mon… Like I said, if we can at least sign DeAngelo Hall, Max Starks, and maybe a solid guard (maybe work out deal for Lito Sheppard) then I’d be a pretty happy guy… But we’re not doing a damn thing…. Moving on… Clinton & xxxlp… I’m not saying that to be "die hard" means to KNOW that your team will make it to the big show… No. not at all. Thats stupid… But have a little faith that we have it in us to make some sort of run towards it. No one gave the Giants the time of day for Super Bowl talk… It was all New England, Dallas, Indy, and MAYBE the Packers… Yet, Ive NEVER heard a "die hard" fan ( of any team) say "Oh, well… we wont be going to the Super Bowl this year" before the season even started. You dont even know what our team is gonna look like. Nor what we can do… A couple season ago, EVERYONE I knew doubted and laughed their asses off when I said we’d go to the playoffs… then next thing you know, I’m watching Denver rank to the 9′ers in the final game of the season… and loan behold; Our boys are headed to Indy… I went back to work that Monday with my head held high, and not hearing a damn thing from co-workers all day. I was proud. And to ME!- THATS what being "die hard" is all about… Never doubting your team, even when times look rough… you stick with them no matter what. Now, I’m NOT saying that you guys DON’T stick with our team… but the doubt kills me. It really does. We ALREADY have the Total Access guys, ESPN, CBS football, FOX sports, EVERY Raider fan, and most people who watch football at that doubting our team… so to see our OWN doubt us, it’s just like "Hey, wait a minute there."
