Bad News: Bucs Strike A Deal With Faine
Dammit! The Tampa Bay Bucs just made Jeff Faine a rich, rich man. At this rate, the Chiefs definitely are going to end up with a bunch of Tickle Me Elmos Delmos, just as I predicted. From Bucs Beat:
The Times has learned New Orleans free agent center Jeff Faine has agreed to a multiyear contract that will make him the league’s highest-paid player at the position, providing the Bucs with a long-term solution at a position they had targeted for a much-needed upgrade.
That sucks, I really wanted him. Who will get our hopes up next? I guess we will see what Niswanger or Waters has at center next year.
