Scratch André Davis
The NFL Network’s Adam Schefter just reported that the Texans have re-signed André Davis for $16 million, $8 M being guaranteed. That’s a lot of dough at his age for his talents. With Bernard Berrian likely going to the Vikings, and Donte’ Stallworth likely to fill the void he left with the Bears, receivers are going to go quickly. The Titans also re-signed ex-Missou star Justin Gage, another UFA.
I still think we have a chance at Bryant Johnson, Devery Henderson or Drew Carter, but we’ll have to wait and see. Cross your fingers, I guess.

Maybe we should have a little more faith in Carl Petersen????? probably not. if they made a top ten worst free agent signing he would probably be on the list too. February 28th, 2008 at 7:34 pmCW- where did you get this info? We need to draft LT, RG, WR, and a CB. RT we’re going to use DMac, LG is Waters, C is possibly Niswanger or maybe if Faine, MLB is Harris, and CB is Surtain/Brackenridge. We have needs but nothing that drastic.
