I don’t think 6 feet 200 pounds is very small, i actually think that is ideal size and that is what Stallworth is

Well, Yeah Jason. . . I dont want dead weight out there either. But the guys we’ve BEEN hollering about DONT suck… Youre pushing for Lloyd so much,when Bryant was in the same situation as Lloyd… A #3 with little playing time. We DO however see eye to eye with Stallworth being the #1 prospect as our #2 WR… So, Im not saying BIG just to say it. I like Stallworth And he’s fairly small.

ROC that is because they are very talented, not because they are big. I see what you are saying about Herm liking the big blocking receivers but Bowe and Gonzo types are not easy to come by. Just because a WR is big doesn’t mean he will excel in our offense. I don’t want a WR2 just plodding around getting in the way just because he can block, which B Johnson isn’t very good at by the way. Samie Parker sucks and needs to go , but I want a guy with about the same skill set, except alot better at catching the ball.

Jason, our Big Recievers (D. Bowe & Tony) are the only dudes getting it done… I think if theres an exception, its Stallworth. No one else.

For ME, Derrick, I’d reverse that. I’d love to have Stallworth over Johnson. . . BUT in all likiness Bryant Johnson, I’d be pretty happy with as our Numero Two ( Anchorman )

I look at Bryant Johnson and I see a 1st round bust who hasn’t showed anything in 5 years. I keep hearing about all these BIG receivers, but how do we know that is what Chan wants in his offense? We have no idea what type of offense he is going to run yet. I wouldn’t mind Stallworth because he can stretch the field, I also would like to see us draft Jordy Nelson. My top 5 in order of who I want either in FA or Draft:1. Donte Stallworth2. Brandon Lloyd3. Jordy Nelson4. Ernest Wilford5. Drew Carter

I wanted Davis but not at 5mil. I was thinking like 1.5mil. In this case Bryant Johnson would be my first choice and Stallworth would be my 2nd.

Im not gonna sit here and say that Brandon Lloyd sucks. Cause he doesnt. He was in a bad spot in Washington. When I remember him with the 9′ers, I remember him being pretty good. . . BUT (sorry Jason) he STILL doesnt fit what we’re trying to do… With exception of Donte Stallworth, the big reciever play is what we’re doing. Prefered scenerio (besides adding Stallworth) : D.Bowe, Gonzo, and Bryant Johnson… big.

I don’t really count last year at all he only had 2 catches, wasn’t he hurt the majority of the year? I look at what he did in San Fran and think that’s what he can do here. You keep calling for Drew Carter, but you look at the age(both 26) and the stats(Lloyd has better numbers overall) besides Drew being a couple inches taller what’s the difference? This will be my last post defending B LLoyd.
