Adam,I got pretty excited when I thought the Chiefs were coming to wembley next season(although no doubt you guys would prefer them to stay at home).I guess I'll have to make do with booing the chargers :-)

Paul, he was a third, fourth, fifth and even sixth option -- behind Moss, Welker, Gaffney and even Watson and Faulk at times -- last year. Players also care about playing and getting the ball. ESPECIALLY wide receivers, who seem to have the biggest and most fragile egos in the NFL, possibly in captivity as Herm says.

Redbeard, I've never read one place where an insider or team official stated Sippio didn't run routes correctly. You have been an info hawk in the past, and even seem to have valid inside sources, so maybe there is something to this...

I have read that he is definitely in the plans for next year. They wanted to apparently give Samie the chance to save his job before they moved on. The Chiefs will move on, though.

I think he'd be a great addition. His last few teams have been "win now" teams, and at this point in his career is he ready to go back to the Saints teams he was on where they were always building towards the future?

Banny I am with everyone on Sippio... he is one guy who unless you throw the ball thirty feet over his head will catch it... but it goes back to the basics.. HE WONT RUN THE ROUTES... that is the only reason he didnt play last year... if he would learn the routes and run them he will start!!! And yes there are recievers available... as For some if they restructure they wont be available... and as for a speedy reciever, that doesnt work when the QB has only two seconds to deliver the ball (hint o-line...hint hint)... :)

What this blog really tells me is that there is a lot of very good WR's out there this year. All but a couple seem to meet Clark Hunt's criteria of being young and ascending. Now the question is do we need one or two of these guys. Really I would like to see a Bryant Johnson and maybe a Hackett to feel up our roster. I really feel Kennison and Parker are gone. That would give a nice WR roster of Bowe, Sippio, Webb, and these two. All nice players that are younger.
