He would be an awesome pick up, and if all goes well he makes all the plays we need. If not at least the public will finally come together to end the nightmare we call Carl Peterson

Heck yes get Jones! I'd trade our 2nd for right now! I'm sure Tennesee would take it for him to. He's better than ANY corner in this year's draft.

We don't need him? Even if he was only used on special teams, we'd certainly use him over Eddie "I can't get the ball past the 20 yard line, even if I start on the 23" Drummond. The dude was a beast on the field, despite all his childish and stupid antics off of it. If you can tone that down, then yes, by all means, he's an upgrade over what we have now, especially if Pat or Ty (whichever is left, if either of them) can mentor him a bit.

sad thing is that this guy was probably the best young corner in the NFL

Get him, I could care less what players do off the field, my little sister isn't dating him and KC stripclubs are lame anyway.  Maybe he could make the Pro-Bowl and open a bar and grill and everyone would forget his mistakes

So we're agreed that we could use him badly, and that he would be a huge risk. So let's sign him up, under a contract, that states a few of the following: If you are arrested, even once, you forfeit your signing bonus. You are awarded only a veteran's minimum contract initially, with plenty of incentive bonuses (keeping out of trouble, returning a pick for a touchdown, return touchdown, getting X amount of picks, X amound of yards on returns, etc) If you play well for the first year, and stay clear of trouble, we will renegotiate parts of the contract that will have you getting payed more for your talents, so long as you can stay out of trouble off AND on the field. I think that would A, keep his nose out of the trash, B, if he did become an embarassment to KC, we could just take the money we gave him and boot him out the door, and still save face around the NFL community, and C, give us a great young CB/KR/PR. What do you guys think ? =/ I doubt it ever happens but I'd still like to see it.

Steven, I know, I know......  But I love my Chiefs and I want to see them do well...  I feel so ashamed!!... lol lol

Jeremy--he hasn't kept his nose clean, that's the only problem.  He just now took a plea deal for an incident that took place after he was suspended, and then there was the allegations that he slapped a woman (again) at a strip club.  He is not only a menace to the NFL, but to society.  You can't just look the other way at the character just because he is a good football player.  What good has he done the Titans?

I for one would love to see him in KC!  We need a player like him real bad!  I know he has done some real stupid stuff.  But, he is young, and the commissioner will let him back in.  Football is his only livelyhood!  He has new agents which also happen to be his criminal attorneys, and I can assure you, he knows there is no room for error.  He will have no choice but to keep his nose clean, and I beleive he will.  If he makes one mistake, he will  be gone from the NFL forever.  I say yes to pacman, wholeheartedly!  we have no corners and no return man!  There is not a team in the NFL who needs him more than the Chiefs do!

I could see him going to Oakland, those fans would love him.  They could have court dates together.

No way this happens.

I would say that neither Carl or Herm can't afford too many mistakes going forward.  An error in judgement would push any fan base they have left over the edge.  They don't need the trouble and this guy isn't worth the risk.

Ahhhhhh.  Ryan Brown, RTC, simon and John.  Wonderful comments, well said and God Bless you.

Not even Herm could get this jack-ass under control

Pac-Man comes to kansas city. Two months later the headline in the paper reads "Jones at it again piledriving a stripper at diamond joes"

Are you f'ing kidding me?  There is no way we should pick this guy up - Character issues were an embarrasment to this team not too long ago - Tamarick Vanover, Bam Morris, Andre Rison, etc.  I would like to avoid a repeat episode.

Never happen.  I remember when last years scouting combine was going on.  Roger Goodell was on the NFL Network doing an interview.  He was asked if he has heard from any other players or coaches in regard to the embarrasment/train wreck known as Adam "pac man" Jones. He said he walked by the work out area of on of the hotels and Herm Edwards was exercising, Goodell said Herm looked at him and said "kick'em out".  I later heard Herm reiterate the comment.  I would be surprised if Pac Man plays a snap this year.  He just copped another plea agreement for some other incident.  I doubt Roger will let him back in the league...maybe ever.  And that is a very good thing--Good ridance to bad rubbish.

I reckon this would be a great pick-up.  I would rather someone who runs from the law, than two corners that struggle to run at all. Plus the cash we would get from law and surtain would easily cover his bail :P

I personally would love Pacman to be a Chief. I know the consequences that could come up such as him embarrasing the chiefs, but if herm edwards could just get him under control and out of trouble....well, we all saw the type of year he had 2 years ago.  Too pretty big chief needs this offseason are return man and cornerback, doesnt Pacman fill both of those pretty well.....
