A player who's kept on the bench or can only periodically play in the game never really "warms up" and therefore doesn't have a fair chance of becoming the MVP. This feels like a pre-orchestrated deal to make certain players, who are left in for the entire game, star players, and keep others in obscurity. You’re right!
