A player who's kept on the bench or can only periodically play in the game never really "warms up" and therefore doesn't have a fair chance of becoming the MVP. This feels like a pre-orchestrated deal to make certain players, who are left in for the entire game, star players, and keep others in obscurity. You’re right! They don't have to play to the extent of getting hurt, but I think the honor should lie in showing what you can! As you may have noticed so far, there has not been any hard hitting in this game at all as compared to regular season, so I consider this a meager representation of all the players. It seems as if they are there for the show and nothing else... I thought these were all supposed to be star players, but it seems that certain players are selected for the entire game, while others have been banned to the benches as insignificant rookies.
