Miami Picks Dorsey, St. Louis On The Clock

That would be great news for those of us that are Jake Long fans - I believe that if Dorsey is there at two the Rams would take him. But it is what it is.

I watched some of Todd McShay on ESPN First Take this afternoon and he now has Matt Ryan going to the Dolphins.  He said that is Parcells likes Beck and believes he is the man for the job, then it will be Dorsey or someone else, but if he doesn't  think Beck is going to be able to do it, then Matt Ryan will be the pick.  Obviously, McShay doesn't think Beck will be the man. 

The St Louis Rams have three people they like - Dorsey, J. Long, and C. Long.  After looking at what felt like hundreds of mock drafts in the last week, I realized they were no help at all. Every time I found a mock draft that had Dorsey - there was another one that had one of the Longs. In the last few days I have gone to some Rams boards and asked them what they would like and everyone wants Either J. Long or Dorsey. They pointed out that when Al Saunders (who we know well) joined the team a week ago, the first thing he wanted improved was the O-Line............So with Dorsey going first to Miami (and I know this won't be popular) I am going to select JAKE LONG (OT) Michigan............Al Saunders did hint that they would like to try to get a tackle through Free Agency so there is still a chance that he falls past them, but a betting man would have to agree that money says they draft Jake Long and pass on Chris Long thus taking a defensive player in rounds 2 and 3
