Glad to Be Back

Let me start off by saying that I would like to thank Adam and the gang of Arrowhead Addict for giving me the opportunity to write some articles and give my opinions on a part-time basis. Thank you. For those of you who never read any of my previous stuff over at ChiefsBlitz.com-first off, you should be ashamed of yourself and second of all, let me tell you a little about myself.

I am not a professional journalist (which will become obvious once you read some of my stuff) and really I’m not much of a writer. But what I am is passionate about Kansas City Chiefs football and all things related. I started my own site in the spring of ’07 and enjoyed it greatly and found it to be a wonderful way for my voice to be heard when it came to the who, what, where and “why in the world did they do that” of the Chiefs. However, like many other Bloggers out there, I have two small children, full time job and some other hobbies and I felt I couldn’t keep my website the way I felt it should be kept. Believe me, the guys and gals out there that do have their own sites, and keep them updated and give you reason for coming to work–it’s harder than what you might think. After starting my own site and falling a little short by my estimations, I have a new found appreciation for this site, ArrowheadPride and all other Chiefs sites out there. Thank you.

One more thing, and this to me is the most important. Be sure to leave you ideas, thoughts and opinions about not only my articles and commentary, but all the others as well. This is why we are here, we are fans, just like you, who have an opinion and want to let other’s voice their’s. You should take advantage of it, and leave your comments, good or bad. You aren’t going to hurt my feelings if you want to disagree with what I have to say, like the old ball coach from Oklahoma State said, “I’m a man…I can take it!”. So please, don’t hesitate to let your voice be heard as well, that’s why this site is here, for the fans of the Kansas City Chiefs.

OK, enough about me, the next time I post on here, I will be discussing the upcoming draft and who I believe the Chiefs take, no questions asked, hands down the best choice for the boys and girls at One Arrowhead Drive. I’ll give you a hint–his last name is Long.
