I still don’t understand why we had Eddie Kennison returning punts for us last year. A 30+ year old wide receiver, when we have younger, faster receivers, aka Samie Parker, or corners, a la Tyron Breckinridge, D’mitri Patterson, that are fast, and we can teach them to cover up the ball with two hands. Even old Eddie fumbled once or twice. We just made alot of personnel decisions that were just plain dumb. If Samie can’t be a reliable number 2 receiver, then he either needs to return kicks for us, and move down the depth chart, or get off our roster. =/ that’s what I think.

No, I know what you said, dude. I was just speaking in general… I think Trufant would be huge if we can somehow grab him… He’d fit right in.

Did you not read what I said? I said "maybe not a top three one," meaning Hall, Samuel or Truffant. And we have the dough to sign any of the three. Still, I doubt we do it. You’re right on that. But that won’t stop us from campaigning for it, and applying heat to the front office to make things happen throughthe draft AND FA.

Free Agent? I think Trufant or Asante Samuel is gonna be a reach for us… I honestly think that we need to pick up a couple O-lineman… R. Lilja (IND) and M. Starks (PIT)… I mean, if we can pick up Jake Long (when the smoke clears and theres no one named McFadden available on the board) then YEAH, we need to get on that… Then we’d have an amazing O-Line. Then pick up and CB in the 2nd or 3rd round… I mean I would love to snatch a Trufant or Samuel… but there are so many teams out there that are needing strong and established CBs, that it’d be hard to grab one of those guys.

This would be such a great pickup for us… Dont get me wrong, I love Pat and Ty… But time doesnt slow down for ANYONE. Chevis Jackson would be great for our secondary. I see a lot of potential in Brack, so Jackson could end up being the side 2 to our CB situation later down the line.
