I think that Colt Brennen would make a great future unless we can hold out for another year and get chase daniel. We can keep brodie and groom 2 at one time

The Chiefs can't bail on Brodie yet. He is a young kid that has barely played at all. The best move would be to bring in another veteran to be he backup.

Its like Tom Brady, and no Brodie is NOWHERE near Brady, but he needs weapons. Brady has everything he needs to be succesful. He has great recievers that can get open, a good TE in Ben Watson, Maroney opens up the play action, and above all... Brady has PROTECTION!!! The O- Line provides all this for THAT team... So when you dudes rant about how LJ sucks or whatever... really think about what youre saying... When we get back to our dominant selves on the O-Line, things will change. I gaurantee it.

Roc27, I hope you are right. Brodie might just need time. I guess we'll know just about a year from now.

I've heard it over and over that a franchise QB needs time to get his feet on the ground. I see so much potential in Brodie... He has a cannon for an arm and the chemestry he has with D.Bowe is a foreshadow of things to come.

Tough is Philip Rivers playing without an ACL. Personally, I haven't seen that kind of toughness from Brodie. Him leaving the Detroit game with a bruised arm was particularly troubling. Then again, our season was over, so I do understand. He'll get his fair trial this year.

Adam, it's a very valid question and this year hasn't given us a warm and fuzzy on that score. I think he has show he is tough, but can he keep from getting hurt?

Again, the problem with Brodie is can he make it through the season? That is the biggest issue.

I don't see us going for a QB in the first day. WR is definately a possibility, esp if we can use him for a return guy as well. However, on the list if priorities, I would rank WR and QB behind OT, CB, OG/C (depending on what we do with Waters and Niswanger) as well as behind CB (again), FB, K. I think we have too many holes before we worry about the second WR and another QB. Like it our not, we look primed to take our shot with Brodie. I happen to like him and I want to see what he can do when he gets pass protection and has a decent running game. It's hard to evaluate a QB when he is running for his life.
