Chiefs at Lions
CB Tyron Brackenridge, RB Larry Johnson, DT James Reed, WR Eddie
Kennison, TE Michael Allen, RB Gilbert Harris, T Adrian Jones. Jeff Webb starts at WR for Kennison.
Looks like Bobby Sippio is active! Even though Allan isn’t, and No. 85 (I don’t even utter his name any more) is. I didn’t turn off the TV, even though I wanted to. What is up with Herm, man?
December 23rd, 2007 at 12:21 pmSippio will start only when and if he ever learns to run the routes… *thats why he isnt starting*, I know the other guys cant catch and run the heck out of the ball…. but he wont be starting in this scheme if he wont learn the routes
December 23rd, 2007 at 12:31 pmman and now a blocked kick…lol this o-line truly is maybe contending for worst ever…
December 23rd, 2007 at 12:33 pmok punt…lol
December 23rd, 2007 at 12:33 pmI just want to see him out there. Curious as to how his speed and size will translate to the NFL. And sick of Parker and Drummond. Very sick.
December 23rd, 2007 at 12:34 pmWe are straight getting our arses kicked here.
December 23rd, 2007 at 12:36 pmI would like to see him too, Adam, … but these coaches want credit and if he goes out and runs around it would be the same as having printers out there… the credit starts to go to the player instead of the coach… *I know stupid but true*
December 23rd, 2007 at 12:41 pmthe spirit is gone from this deff., and we can blame the off. for that….. well most of it…..And remember us fans should just get over it…lol
December 23rd, 2007 at 12:43 pmHow is Croyle looking besides that interception? I can’t watch the game so I am following it online. Thanks.
December 23rd, 2007 at 12:50 pmDid Croyle get hurt? Why is Huard in there?
December 23rd, 2007 at 12:54 pmwell to me I think he’s learning, he has alot to learn but this is the best way for him… he definatly doesnt look great , but I like him starting…I think he has a strong enough head on his shoulders to take the mistakes and come back from them… when the CHIEFS finaly get an O-line for him he’ll be that much better
December 23rd, 2007 at 12:55 pmyeah he was taken into the locker room
December 23rd, 2007 at 12:55 pmAdam I am starting to like WEBB more and more each week
December 23rd, 2007 at 12:57 pmMan i’m following this game online and it dose NOT look good at all! Talk to me everyone what is wrong? I know that the o-line sucks but other than that what’s wrong?
December 23rd, 2007 at 12:57 pmthe play calling is being mixed up a bit better than usual…I think it could be better… we had a blocked punt, for a safety…(o-line)… and an int. by croyle who was forcing a throw to tony…and didnt see the OL slide under…ran back for a TD…thats when Croyle got hurt throwing a low block on that return.
December 23rd, 2007 at 1:02 pmTD Battle, with some of these guys running behind our o-line(bad as it is)… and LJ back next year with our Recieving corp improving…
December 23rd, 2007 at 1:07 pmINT…pollard… nice to see the young guys learning…even on deffense…
December 23rd, 2007 at 1:08 pmThank you so much redbeard!it’s hard for me to tell what’s going on when i’m watching ti on cbssportsline.com
December 23rd, 2007 at 1:08 pmsportsline is still one of the best online trackers out there
December 23rd, 2007 at 1:12 pmya it is i’ve noticed that they do give you a LOT more info than any other tracking site. I just wish didnt live in Florida so i could watch some more games but o well i got yall! lol
December 23rd, 2007 at 1:13 pmafter we scored a rushing TD ,and then after the INT, the coach did call a play action… nice decision.on the first down play call
December 23rd, 2007 at 1:14 pmhave you tried… the dish…NFL network…? I had it when I was in Jax for a year
December 23rd, 2007 at 1:15 pmtony and bowe are having a great game today…
December 23rd, 2007 at 1:16 pmjarrod scores again passing TD
December 23rd, 2007 at 1:17 pmYes, they are. Brian Waters also looks great.
December 23rd, 2007 at 1:17 pmgreat hands…lol
December 23rd, 2007 at 1:17 pmThe One Man Gang does it again!
December 23rd, 2007 at 1:18 pmwatters looks like his old self today
December 23rd, 2007 at 1:18 pmman now that huard is in it’s looking good! and about the NFL network thing my dad wont buy it for me and we have cable to so ya. You got to remember that i’m only 15 lol but man that TD from J.Allen excites me! lol We are showing a lot of heart and drive today I LOVE IT>
December 23rd, 2007 at 1:24 pmA couple of things here…
A.) We didn’t start past our own 25 on one possession in the first half. Hard to win with that kind of field positioning.
B.) I really like that D-Bo screen. He’s so big and moves so well that if we set it up right he’ll get at least five yards a pop. Where has that been all year?
C.) Redding just embarrassed Waters and Dame. C’mon, fellas. You double team a DT and he spins out to make a stop on third and two? Argh.
December 23rd, 2007 at 1:43 pmTrue , as for the special teams…we will improve as with most deff. minded teams…(except Tampa ) this area will be there in the future as we add more talent to the special teams with linebackers and corners and safties in the years to come
December 23rd, 2007 at 1:49 pmMike Priefer is gone and so is Drummond. I would actually like to see us draft a kick returner in the first five rounds. It has done wonders for a team two years in a row (Chicago – Hester, Cleveland – Cribbs). Remember what Dante Hall did for our offense and defense in 2003.
Just saw Sippio in. Too bad Huard threw to a completely blanketed Samie Parker. Huard needs to stop going to him in traffic and on fades. THE GUY IS SHORT! Wake up.
December 23rd, 2007 at 1:56 pmBy the way, Redbeard, what did you actually hear about Sippio and routes? Or was that just speculation?
December 23rd, 2007 at 1:56 pmAlmost 20 sacks for our defensive ends now. Considering Jared sat the first two, that’s pretty good. You also have to consider the DTs they are playing next to.
December 23rd, 2007 at 1:59 pmno it was early in the year… back when they were just leaving spring training… when they cut him…check the hard knocks tapes if you can
December 23rd, 2007 at 2:01 pmwith parker down you may see sippio allot more now
December 23rd, 2007 at 2:04 pmparis is a great LB…. we could use an inside man like that
December 23rd, 2007 at 2:05 pmthank you mr fisher
December 23rd, 2007 at 2:06 pmand now the return of our usual o-line play…give us a break two econds …that will never works folks
December 23rd, 2007 at 2:08 pmand jason dunn is done he should be gone next year…in my oppinion
December 23rd, 2007 at 2:08 pmMan, Big Baby just worked that Welbourn-Wiegmann double. Ouch.
And that Parker fake end around play was just flawed in its design. Looked terrible.
Will we see Bobby here on third and long? Probably put in Wilson. Yuck.
December 23rd, 2007 at 2:10 pmMan, I get so damn excited every tme 8-3 gets in. Just waiting for someone to hit him. Man. He’s a good open field blocker, though. We are seeing that. In a world of Parkers and Webbs that can’t hurt his cause at all.
4th and 14, why not go? Carney can’t hit, and we have nothing to lose. Go! Go! Go!
December 23rd, 2007 at 2:13 pmmr bowe is making me a believer
December 23rd, 2007 at 2:14 pmThat’s right, Megatron — the best rookie receiver in the league! Man, Dwayne Bowe is just incredible in the redzone, isn’t he?
December 23rd, 2007 at 2:16 pmWonder where Webby is today?
December 23rd, 2007 at 2:16 pmyou call that the red zone…lol,
December 23rd, 2007 at 2:17 pmHow can you not be a believer in Mr. Bowe at this juncture. That’s myguy, since day one. Now if I can only get my other guy, his cousin, making big plays.
December 23rd, 2007 at 2:17 pmI wasn’t talking about McIntosh, by the way. How many cousins does this guy have? I lived in Hollywood, FL once. Are we cousins, too?
December 23rd, 2007 at 2:19 pmright decision to go for two…but man this o-line sucks so bad…lol it really is funny if you can muster a laugh
December 23rd, 2007 at 2:19 pmyou may be adam
December 23rd, 2007 at 2:20 pmwell i see we are doing good here.i just got back from the store my mom made me go. sorry i was gone.
December 23rd, 2007 at 2:24 pmI still dont think he is or was the best choice, if he was then we are looking at drafting a corner in the first this year…since thats an overstocked position as was wideout last year…and that means we will be even worse next year
December 23rd, 2007 at 2:25 pmpollard oh man….. at least he is showing he’s getting betterthe promise on the young guys isnt bad…
December 23rd, 2007 at 2:26 pmNice defensive stand there. I liked seeing Turk in there at DT on obvious passing downs. He’s got such great speed, plus his motor, which allows him to make plays when other DTs are long out of the play.
Pollard looks excellent today. As does D.J.
My biggest concern is that we are a little small in our front seven, and too big in the back. Fast up front, slow in the secondary, I guess. Not a good equation for stopping the run late in games. Pretty standard for the Tampa Two, I guess, though.
December 23rd, 2007 at 2:28 pmman i feel so left out! lol cu i cant watch it. but o well you guy’s are basicly telling me everyhting that’s going on.
December 23rd, 2007 at 2:31 pmHow can you say Dwayne Bowe wasn’t the right choice? We’ll go quarterback and tackle early this year, or vice versa. And I think the offense will really start coming around. I think we have to draft a QB now. Like in college, Croyle has displayed that he simply cannot stay healthy. The good thing about being this bad is that your second rounder is basically a first.
December 23rd, 2007 at 2:32 pmToo many good FA corners to go with one in the first. Plus, with the depth we can get a starter in the third easy. Maybe even fourth or fifth. Herm says he knows defensive backs, let’s let him prove that.
December 23rd, 2007 at 2:33 pmThis will be a good test for our defense here. Let’s see if we can make Kitna and Martz pay. I think they’ll still pass here.
December 23rd, 2007 at 2:38 pmGreat defensive series. Really impressed with Tamba staying at home and corralling Megatron on that reverse.
December 23rd, 2007 at 2:42 pmhe have go tto get the ball and make somthing happen SOON!
December 23rd, 2007 at 2:42 pmwe need to go ALL the way down the field and run the clock down in the process and then eather score a TD or get a FG
December 23rd, 2007 at 2:43 pmthank you o-line for a sack
December 23rd, 2007 at 2:48 pmDame being out kills us. We have to keep Dunn and a back in there, instead of going spread. That means no Sippio, no Parker, etc…
Really limits Huard’s options, plus the protection is still lousy. Might as well just spread it.
December 23rd, 2007 at 2:49 pmthey need to spend the money elsewhere than at corner in the off season
December 23rd, 2007 at 2:55 pmthis is our last shot let’s go KC NATION!
December 23rd, 2007 at 2:57 pmI strongly, STRONGLY disagree about spending money on corners. Corner is our third worst position, trailing only O-line and quarterback.
December 23rd, 2007 at 3:14 pmHey guys, nice to see ya’ll were thinking about me today. I’m in Indianapolis at the lady’s house (I know, I know *shaking head in disappointment*), so I only got to see the 1st half in BW3s. It didn’t look too great in the first, but OMG was a phenom again on offense. [Anyone else feel he's struggling a bit too much on D?] I saw the great
December 23rd, 2007 at 7:55 pmJulianJackie Battle score a TD, and then later, saw the replay of the Bowe TD, but yeah… pretty good day (I’m pushing for the draft!).Hi all gays!!!
April 6th, 2008 at 11:13 amI’am nebie this forum.
Hey guys I had an old laptop running XP Pro. A couple of weeks ago, every time I would connect to the internet via DSL or wireless, the hard drive light would come on – as if it were writing something to the hard drive. It would cause IE to run slower than dial-up. I looked in task manager and although the CPU usage was high, there didn’t seem to be a process listed that was using it. I used LavaSoft Adaware to scan on a regular basis as well as Norton 2005. I eventually gave up and bought a new laptop (Vista Home), which now has the same problem. It is obviously related to something that I copied over to the new computer from the old computer. But the things is, Norton Internet security isn’t picking up a virus. I used it to scan everything before copying it on to the new computer. Has anyone heard of such a thing or had the same problem? I’d much rather be able to find and remove the problem rather than restore.
Thanks!
